  • George Martin, monster of the keys...

  • They should have sentenced Jane Asher to life as Paul's muse.

  • PAAUULLLL!!!!! Ohmigosh, I adore Paul's voice! Back then, he had the look and sound of pure heaven. Thumbs up if you think Paul McCartney = heavenly!

  • the beatles,what you're doing to me?

  • One of my favorite songs ever. What am I saying, every Beatles song is fabulous!

  • 1:18-1:32

  • @squizzage lol that's exactly what I'm doing right now! XD

  • the guitar at the beginging sounds like the byrds a little.

  • @chaselovespizza the byrds sounded like the beatles

  • @deserteacher

The Byrds didnt really sound like The Beatles at all, it only sounds similar because they both play Rickenbackers.

  • @Rush1013 I recall reading that Rickenbacker gave George Harrison that first guitar that he then played for Hard Days Night; then it became popular. Beatles used it first. Love the sound. So very jangly.

  • @deserteacher

John and George bought their first Rickenbackers in Hamburg in 1960, they have been playing them way before Hard Days Night

  • @Rush1013 i'm referring to the 12 string one given to Harrison while he wa visiting his sister in, I think, Wisconsin. wow heavy conversation between 2 Beatles afficionados! I'll check with a friend-- she knows about every detail

  • @chaselovespizza becuase its the same guitar. rickenbacker 360/12

  • The Beatles were plugged into a time that millions of everyday people had the same feelings for. A time of fresh musical expression defined by a younger generation that tried to throw off the yoke of repressive traditional values and allow the music to move their souls in a manner of greater tolerance and compassion. Now Im an old man moved to tears by the hearing of such songs when I think of what could have been.

  • this makes math homework fun

  • @squizzage This make every homework fun

  • wow i don't think i have heard this song again. they wrote so many great songs

  • This is one of those songs that I love and don't really know why... there's something really true-to-life in those lyrics about loneliness and feeling like someone you love is making you feel blue. And that's such a great tune - it gives me a nostalgic feeling, for some reason.

  • rf8gcrusader------I used to buy spares for the F8 & the A7 I assume you were involved with the aircraft too ^5. Yes this tune does have that 50's rock influence and does remind one of Buddy Holly who was one of The Beatles major influences and icon to them as well, and it would definitely have been groovy to hear Buddy & The Beatles together. Happy Birthday on your 71st John---We Luv Ya Man!....Oh and Congrtualtions to Paul on his marriage today October 9 as well----3rd times the charm mate.

  • @RainBeauRhyder I was an Aviation Storekeeper on the USS Intrepid CVS-11. Our squadrons were all A-4 Skyhawks, and S-2 Trackers. Didn't mean to but-in, but to me, Memories of the Beatles and aircraft parts is a strange but good feeling. Haha. Also, to hear Holly and the Beatles together would been outstanding.

  • drums <3 :DD

  • A shame that Buddy Holly left us so soon, I would've loved to hear him and the Beatles do this song together. It has that classic 50's rock & roll sound to it.

  • The Beatles are my heros

  • I saw the sunshine listening to this song

  • The Beatles = A W E S O M E♥

  • George you look like an onion! :D

  • This beautiful, but simplistic, song is one example of what the Beatles put out in the early days. I have followed this music for well over 36 years! It still beats anything new out today!

  • classic Mccartney vocals

  • Those people that say Ringo couldn't drum obviously never heard this song.

  • @misspurity91 They've obviously never heard "Rain" or "A Day In the Life," either!

  • @misspurity91 I know. besides, he was ambidextrous and he was conciderd one of the best drummers of the century... he STILL is conciderd that!

  • @misspurity91 Recently saw Carmine Appice doing a drummers worksgop and was not impressed. Anyone can beat on skins. Ringo rules!

  • @misspurity91 or She Said She Said

  • @misspurity91

I think it was Ringo's drumming that took The Boys to the proverbial next level. Ringo was considered the best drummer in Liverpool, and was the drummer for Rory Storm and the Hurricanes.

  • go ringo! and paul! and john! AND GEORGE THE BEST!

  • Totally 'Mr. Tambourine Man'

  • @SixTailights Yeah, but this came out first.

  • Love this song.Somtimes my boyfriend, whose being ass right now, reminds me of this song. Not a good thing bu the way >:(

  • The 2 dislikes: Voldemort and Sauron

  • at 1:03 i think its john just randomly yelling. ;)

  • The Beatles are fabulous. Even with a sad lyrics, they never sound depressed. I love them.

  • 1:44 I love it!

    Me eee ee ee e!

  • 1:03 did they mess up? the "you" and "i" thing? ooh who cares!

  • I don't care what anybody says, this song makes Ringo SHINE!!!!!!!!! Tum, tum, tum...Superb drumming!

  • this reminds me of "tambourine man" for some reason

  • Happy Birthday Paulie!

  • great, cause not many songs at the beginning period are with paul singing.

  • I can't see the reason why one should dislike a LEGENDARY song...

  • I'm a completely heterosexual male, but goddamn I'm gay for Paul.

  • @JohnsBirdCanSing I'm so sorry... HAHAHAHAHA!

  • me gusta la desprolijidad de la toma 11, las armonias john y paul se complementan impresionante toma 11, what you're doing

  • man that beginning is epic

  • Love Johns shouting in this song!

  • Love it! (L)

  • The greatest band in the world!

  • one of the many albums i bought ...... like this song a lot ........ classic stuff here!

  • Im a really big Beatles fan. I spend my free time listening to their music and reading about them and watching interviews, etc. etc. I'm writing a book, and I play this song over and over... this song just helps me write.

  • Also a bit like The Searchers I think

  • Ringo was a bad ass drummer :)

  • @RollOverBeethoven63 He sure was. The Beatles were an awesome Rock and Roll band that rocked the '60's :)

  • Love the drums at the beginning, and the guitars remind me of The Byrds.

Now, before you people freak out on me, I know The Beatles came before The Byrds, it's just the guitars remind me of the song, "Turn, Turn, Turn" by The Byrds.

Just wanted to make that clear :)

  • Wonderful vocals!

  • Listen at 1:46 and you'll hear the corrected verse..George clearly flubbed at 1:05

  • @pedromccartney ....I didnt hear "me" at 1:05....I heard "I"...and it was NOT intended..the verse "I" got me crying" doesnt make sense.

And btw, at 1:01 they both say "Please"

  • SEXY ASS BEATLES!!!!! <333333333

  • love the drums at the start ! ^^

  • Has anyone ever noticed the flub on the lyrics at 1:05? Paul says "I" and George says "You"..by mistake!

  • @XxduckmeatxX ya i tottally just got that!!! i thought it sounded weird and now i know why!!!!!=)

  • @XxduckmeatxX if you listen to the previous lines, you can tell that it's purposely said

  • @hannuka149 ....I dont think so...this is a bonafide flub...they were both supposed to say "You" at the same time.

  • The versatility of these guys never ceases to amaze me. It's like they planted the seeds for all music genres to come.

  • Sorry, I feel compelled to say I was the 33,333 viewer and listener of this video. :P

    Beatles! <3

  • Subscribed, Liked, Commented.

  • Doin your mom :D

  • Great early Paul song.

  • Paul's voice is very good here. Those guys really snapped to on this one.

  • Almost awesome. Tremendous.

  • This is my favorite song on this album.

  • Please join us at Beatlesville, USA on FB if you really like these guys!! LOL! :)

  • no dislikes?! this must be the perfect Beatles song

  • @theJimmiester Perfect Beatles song is redundant. Beatles song suffices.

  • @trailblazer225 yea i guess your right, my bad dude

  • @theJimmiester Hahaha, I was kidding. But it's true, all Beatles songs are perfect. Saying perfect Beatles song is like saying... delicious pie. It's already implied.

  • @trailblazer225

    Hahah, great comparison! :)

  • Simply perfect.

  • YOU GOT HIM CRYIN' STUPID!!!

  • BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM! DA DA DA DA LOOK WHAT YOUR DOIN TO PAUL MCCARTNEY!!!! GOD YOUR KILLIN HIM!! no jk lol!

  • this is a winter album.no doubt about it. They are, yes they are the greatests.

  • this is my fav song

  • the reason some music of theirs is so un-heared is because they released singles, when u do that, u pretty much say, here's the good shit, listen to this, u need to take the led zeppelin approach by only releasing albums w/no singles so people will listen to the whole album and then decide the good radio songs the only reason to release a single is when ur young to get their attention, u should always put the single on the album though

  • @jackinthebox96

Agreed, they had so many number ones everyone forget about all the ovther brilliance lying in the albums

  • Beatles For Sale is an amazing album! All the songs are simply great! Critics said before that this was one of their worst albums, but they're totally wrong, they just don't understand good music when they hear it.

  • @HardcorePartyMonster I would say it's probably their most under-rated album, along with A Hard Days Night. Everyone always mentions Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sergeant Pepper and the White Album when they talk about the best albums, I think both of those are right up there. Just my personal opinion.

  • @NoviJimB My favorite album is Rubber Soul, but yes this album is underated as well as all the songs on here. You don't really hear mr moonlight or Baby's in black much on youtube, but their amazing songs, as well as the others!

  • even their simplest songs are complex....real gems

  • drive my car/the word/what you're doing great mix!

  • This album is one of my favorites. And it has one of the cutest pictures :D

  • wow

  • The Very Best, Then, Now, Always!

  • I'm a Beatles fan, but this is the first time I've heard this song. Eargasm, much? I feel like I already know all the words! (=

  • drums = AWESOME :D

  • One of their most under appreciated songs.

    It’s a peek of Paul’s amazing vocals

    Love it

  • awesome!!!
