They don't have enough money to afford to go to school. Or the children have lost their parents and have to stay home and take care of their siblings. Schools there aren't like over here. No floors, no desks, no pencils, no books. If we donate school supplies theres a chance but most children can't afford to go to school. and if they do they can't afford the supplies.
The biggest failure of Democracy in Africa is that unsophisticated, illiterate, uninformed and easily influenced citizens can replace those that fully sustain them with others that fully impoverish them.

i don't think anyone is unaware of the situation.
the problem is anything we do doesn't seem to help. there's been money collections for 30 years, and nothing to show for it.
