I don't understand why people don't like the Megaman X 3 Boss themes, especially the old SNES versions. they sound evil in a repetitive way, and when you come to play Megaman X 3 after playing the first two, MMX3 makes it sound like the first two Megaman X games were just pushovers at this point, similar to how the original Megaman 3 did with it's boss themes as well.

X6 suffered from bad programming decisions. Otherwise, the game was fun and had an interesting story, and some of the best music. X7 was just a clusterfuck of bad. The story was bad, the villains are forgettable. The voice acting was so bad I rather not have had them. The power ups were usually worthless, and some of the stages bordered on boredom to just play.

Not to mention X himself was not immediately playable and Axl sucked in the game.

@TeamFourthWave If by programming you mean design choices, then I agree. Just awful stage design, terrible storytelling(textscreen about the boss you just killed, really Capcom?), and a crazy difficulty curve.

On the other hand, the soundtrack is downright amazing and the graphics weren't bad for their time.

Yes, design choice, the suits being rather pointless, the nightmare system in general, one of Zero's attacks (downward slash), the randomness of the Central Museum, and what you mentioned. Those are things that can be mostly fixed. MMX7 is just a bad concept and execution.

Of course, MMX8 makes up for both games gameplay wise. X6 will always have a special place in the series as a bad designed game, but still good. X7 is just a bad game that I have never replayed ever.
