Montel spoke up for him talking about how the media was speculating about how he died, while his family was still grieving and he hadn't even been buried yet. He was mad at the media, not Heath, for all this coverage of one person (no disrespect) and not half that time on other people. Is a famous person's life worth more than a soldier or any other person in a tragic situation? News channels should leave celebrity worship to TMZ, E!, and VH1.

can't call him a legend and disregard the fact that THOUSANDS of soldiers died because they paid the ultimate sacrifice just so people, such as Heath Ledger, could have the freedom to live life the way they want..Like I said before, I liked him and I think he was a legend too, but my stepdad is currently in Iraq for the 2nd time (first time he was hit by an IED) and my brother, who's only 21, is in Iraq too. Im in the Air Force. I'm only 19. I think the military should get WAY more recognition!
