It happens so fast you dont even think you react! It happened to me when I was a kid! I came atleast 8inches (literrally) from getting hit by my assistant principles car!

the police should be required to park their vehicle farther out in the street so that if someone does veer off the hit the police car instead of the victims car.

That makes no sense, neither person in this video were suppose to be on the highway side of their vehicle.

It is regulation that the officer makes you stand on the other side of the car just incase of those types of accidents! You'ld get toss into the grass! Better then getting smacked by a car and thrown onto the highway, were another car can hit you!
