A - did you forget to put your BOV/CBV line on or something? There's a ridiculous amount of compressor surge, prob. to the point of compressor stall. Get a good BOV (I don't mean off eBay)...

1. a dose pipe is a myth, made up by idiots, its just the intake pipe to the front of the turbo and the "dosing" sound is compressor surge caused by pressure build up on throttle closure forcing its way back through the compressor.

2. the blow off valve, wastegate or any other part of the turbo system bar the throttlebody and the compressor wheel, have NOTHING to do with generating this noise.

@ryanwll no, the compressor does NOT spin backwards, that is a physical impossibility. my understanding is that it causes high pressure fluctuations in the compressor housing which are then heard through the intake pipe. the speed at which the compressor/turbine shaft rotates only alters slightly due to the exhaust gases still spinning the turbine wheel, go to the garrett website they have some interesting info on comp surge

You obviously don't know much about turbo intakes as the type of piping and turbocharger dramatically changes the sound of the compressor surge.

A dose pipe is used on the Intake mouth of the turbo to aamplify and "bend the pitch" of the sound that is generated by the compressor wheel (from excess pressures coming back through the intercooler out the turbo). Without a dose pipe, the sound it would make would be completely different.
