A co-worker here had said she saw the funeral motor-cade pass on Bluemound Rd. in Brookfield Wisconsin. I was on the job, but I reside in Waukesha, now, and that's where he was put to rest. I don't know what to say. Someone who came from where I came from changing the world? A bit heavy for me, and I have no relation, or connection to that greatness for the record. None, R.I.P. Stevie died here at Alpine Valley. Eric Clapton, and Robert Cray were scheduled to fly out with him, but he had the killer solo flight happening, as he was a legend already. The last song he performed live was, " Giong Down. " Go figure, his pilot was a fool, and he chose to fly a Ski-Slope range in a deep fog. That fog took both lives upon that fatal decision. apb

This is a great tribute, Dave! Les was a one of a kind. His inventions and his musical genius left us with a legacy that will live eternal.

I heard him on radio as a kid, I watched him and Mary on the early tv shows in the 50s, and I saw him play as recently as this past year. He never slowed down, and he never stopped being incredible.

The news of his death hit me like a sledge hammer. He'll be missed, but he'll never be forgotten.

Great tribute to a true innovator.....Buddy Holly was one of the first to use Les Pauls technique of over-dubbing which later became the norm for rock and roll, so even todays music has Les Paul's fingerprints on it....a true legend and well done on the tribute video........
