any advice for me(a newbie) i have a blade 400 with a109 fuse and before i put fuse on im trying to slow down forward flight and get best adive with helicommand unit/ or 4 blade head set up would appreciate the advice
haha, hey the best thing is, I sniped it on ebay got it for 107 lol. oo and ur battery sounds close to mine. I have a TP Extreme 6S 5000 in my trex hehe, they should just put small generators what recharge the battery as you fly and put some very cool heat sinks on the motor lol! or put like a vxl fan to flow on the motor. it would be so nice, u could fly ur heli for hours basically. but may be alot of work on the motor. which kinda sucks, all it needs is metal gears n good cooling lol.

I setup my gy401 today on my blade 400 was nice lol. holds so well. b4 I always flew giving it some tail b/c i didnt know how to setup the gyro lol. so i was like, why do i need a gyro anyways if my heli just keeps spinning counter clock wise LMAO. then i was amazed when i fixed it, feels so nice no more tail input like on the etrm's LOL like bladecp
It's an ancient Align 6s 4200mah. The long 14 min was due to the howling wind (generates lift on heli's). 401? Thats what I use on my 600's, bit over the top on a 400/450 but if you can afford it why not?
now do that in nose in lol i lost my fear of doing nose in I did it on the 3rd flight with my trex 600,i have it setup that i can let go of my control n my heli wont crash my tail holds solid!!! its nice. hey btw, was it hard to build ur heli and whats ur flight time?

Not too hard, the fuse is not meant for 600 Trex but with a few mods ok.
Av flight time 9-10 hovering, I have had up to 14 mins in gale force winds though, Gary.
