  • He met his wife doing Shameless. So i know exactly when he means haha.

  • Vortex of charm? More like a fucking vacuum.

  • 1:39 ...I am a fan of Gerard Butler for 7 years ,but my age which is 14 doesn't allow me to "dig" it and learn if Gerry has a son. Literally, James looks like Gerry's son...OMG!!!

  • I actually want to know what James McAvoy was planning that involved Cary Grant and pole dancing.

  • I actually wish want to know what James McAvoy was planning that involved Cary Grant and pole dancing.

  • He needs to be on the show again! ASAP!

  • Damn, that James McAvoy and his Scottish Charm.

  • Every time he says "wife" my heart breaks a little... :'(

  • wow...that set was UGLY!

  • @andrys261192 It was however, extremely well-lit, unlike the rubbish cave of a set he has to work from now. ;)

  • @Fergufool you're right :P but now that i think of it i guess i like the cave more o.O

  • @andrys261192 They did make improvements to the old set before the changeover. For one thing, they added more woodwork to frame (and minimize) the circus-like background, LOL! But the lighting on the new set condemned Craig to staying on his mark, rather than energetically roam the stage as he used to. And the black floor totally hides his physical comedy. For those reasons, I never liked it and never will I'm afraid.

  • @Fergufool damn, that's true! now i'm totally on your side. get craigy some lightning!!!

  • @andrys261192 Maybe we need to take up a "new lighting" collection. :D

  • HA! Had no idea that Jon Cryer was the one who coined the Scottish Vortex of Charm.

  • that was such a funny amazing interview. Got to love the scottish!

  • I'm so in love with the scottish accent :D

  • I guess this video has the same effect on women as pretty naked ladies have on men.

  • Ok, this is at least the 20th time I watch this interview...c'mon Marta!

  • @ClifftonBeach That could be regional. Here, Craig and Hague rhyme, but keg is pronounced quite differently. It's similar to "marry" and "Mary". In some areas, the local pronunciation is exactly the same, confusing the hell out of me! :D

  • I like how Mr Cryer talks about "Charlies charm" and then a few months later...WINNING!

  • @speebyda This clip is from January 2008, so it took FAR too long for the money-men at CBS to grow tired of Charlie's "charm". :/

  • @Fergufool Of course, I have done what others have done and not read the info. oops. It always bugs me when people do that, not now of course, but every other time it happens.

  • @speebyda No problem. :) I provide the dates and background info for reference, but since this is YouTube, I sincerely doubt that three people out of a hundred actually read the descriptions.

  • This definitely a go to video, when you're feeling down...bloody adorable :)

  • Omg he's so fucking adorable

  • <3 this video. def scottish charm vortex

  • Scottish overload

  • Wow.. what..?! Wife?? Nooo :(

  • damn! so hawt XDD

  • He looks like Gera...whoops just looked at the top comment.

  • omggg i love scott accents! he's so sexy! ugh! -faints-

  • aye its true, ferguson hasn't got a strong scottish accent. go tae glasgow (voted the number one friendliest city in the world i might add) and try understand them! lol

  • I can't hear any difference between their "tune" and "tune" or "craig" and "craig".

  • @dunbar9finger American "tune" - sounds like "toon"; Scottish "tune" - sounds like "tyune". American "Craig" rhymes with "keg"; Scottish "Craig" rhymes with "The Hague".

  • @Fergufool it's more like 'choon' in scotland lol

  • @tizo1996 Yes exactly, thank you! I was breaking my head trying to write it as it sounds. :D "Tyune" is more how an Englishman pronounces it. Your Scottish "choon" is more on the button! LOL!

  • LMAO!

  • I love the fact that every Scotsman that comes on brings up how American's pronounce his name. Ewan McGregor brought it up too. I kind of wish I had a Scottish ear so I could hear the difference.

  • All the dislikes are lost in the vortex.

  • i love him (james, that is)

  • Okay, if the 2 of them were joined by Sean Connary, my heart would just stop right there. Too much Scottish hotness. >///< McAvoy is too cute here (like I wasn't half in love w/ him already for X-Men: First Class).

  • Thumbs up if you can understand them just fine.

  • Scottish people get laid a lot, i figure

  • @salihadjic lol i wish!

  • that awkward moment when james mcavoy doesnt know when to sit down....lol

  • Craig, James and Ewan = Scottish Vacuum of charm, someone needs to make this happen :D

  • @lostcrzy gerrard .... put gerrard butler in for good measure (;

  • @lostcrzy and david tennant :D

  • tight pants :)

  • what a terrible scenario

  • What I love about Craig Ferguson is that with him, it's less about interviewing and promoting and more of an insight into a hilarious conversation between two great people. Love his show.

  • "He doesn't say that! He shouldn't say that! He so changed!" <--THAT GETS ME EVERY TIME. xDDD

  • that is one scottish vacuum of charm i would NOT mind bein sucked into ;) love james! :D

  • He looks like the younger version of Gerard Butler!!! I like him when he doesnt have the facial hair on too ;)

  • What a gorgeous accent

  • ah dammit!! he's married!! (actually this is quite old, so is he still married?)

  • @NightmarishlyWicked Yes he is. still married.

  • James is so cute and funny, I love how he's so sexually outspoken but he's really funny about it :)

  • Two very charming scotsmen. I miss Craig ending the interviews like that (serious and focusing on the guest).

  • Both sexy as hell!!

  • "I'm worried about you people, you're not ready for it!" xD

  • oh my god cutest and funniest thing I have ever seen. James is too adorable, I was laughing like the whole time I watched this!

  • they looks like they're father and son.

  • I've seen a million times this video, but it was of lower quality, then when I find this with better quality was a great joy! .. is my favorite interview of james! thanks for this.. I love him!!!!

  • He looks like Gerard butler in this

  • "Would you like me to show you?" HELL YES.

  • "What would you classify as real sex?" - "Would you like me to show you?"

    OH YES.

  • "Everyone in Scotland is that charming" I don't doubt that... get me outta here!! xD

  • Wow, something I never noticed -- with facial hair, he looks a bit like Gerard Butler.

  • @checkerbordom aye, so he does. weird that, isn't it?

  • @checkerbordom Like a little extra cute mini-Gerard...A chibi Gerard Butler.

  • @checkerbordom Hmm, Scottish! ;)
