@marshallmock  No they don't continue to get paid the Presidential salary. They get what is equal to "retirement" pay (85% of their yearly salary), medical/insurance benefits, Secret Service protection for 10 years. All they retain is nothing compared to what they already had. Most were Millionaires "prior" to their terms in office. The only one who wasn't during our time was Clinton. However he is now mainly due to speaking engagements.

i got news for everybody... Obama isnt gonna save this country. The stimulus package isnt even a stimulus package. its a big spending bill. thats all it is. how about the $50 million for the national endownment of the arts, or the $650 million for digital tv conversion coupons. theres more pork than that but i cant fit it all in here. only 35% of this bill contains taxcuts. the rest is spending. and if it wasnt for the GOP we would have less than 35% of taxcuts in the bill.
