the palette is from bh cosmetics and there are two palettes i believe there is a special (dont hold me to this) but uhm i am fairly certain that if you buy 1 palette for 29.99 you get the other one half price. like i said, im not completely sure, but i checked it out and i thought it was cool :)) there is a video about it on the side somewhere i think so you can check that out to make sure

the main difference with using an eyeshadow with some shimmer in it is that it's easier to blend than one without. it's also a bit more modern...back in the day, like in the fifties and sixties, most everything people wore was matte (look at marilyn monroe). that's the main difference :)
