This castle would look beautiful if it was painted and retouched. It looks lackluster and needs livening up. I love castles and most should remain as is but for some reason, I want to paint this castle to give it life lol
Like a prison ? ... Well, perhaps today... but during the XVII th century, he was inhabited by the famous Marquise de Sévigné, who was a refined and cultured spirit, who received in her "salon" ("living room") all the high society of the arts and even many others... and wrote very interesting letters to her daughter when she was separated from her for a long time. In these letters you can see all mother love and little and big stories about french kingdom at this period.
Très instructif , merci :) !
