The Saga of Darren Shan is one of the few series' that are great from start to finish, and definitely one of my favourites, it's the kind you can read over and over.

The movie however looked so bad that I haven't even seen it from fear of it ruining the books for me.

The Demonata series, in my opinion, started out magnificently, the first three being the best of the series. But sadly it seemed to go steadily downhill from there...

Darren Shan put all of the epic in one. Zombies (technically, the Little People are zombies) Gods, (Mr.Tiny, Mr.Tall, etc.) dragons, vampires, something other than werewolves for the vampires to fight, wolves, near-death experiences, awesome revealing at the end. Oh, and the part of Steve Leopard (Leonard) was played by Chuck Norris.

At the end of the demonata series bec pretends to be allys with lord loss but when grubbs, kernel are trying to close a tunnel using the kah gash bec stops them and instead unleashes the gag gash. Before this bec absorbed death into herself so she controlls, it the gag gash goes back to the original universe but bec can rebuild it with her perfect memory.they also kill al major demons since they ARE the gag gash ahahahahahahahaha
