@hectorst24 Indurain era una maquina en la bicicleta, pero no corria todas la grandes, clasicas y pequeñas vueltas, cosa que eddy merckx por ejemplo si hizo en muchas ocasiones correr muchas competiciones de gran esfuerzo fisico en un año, indurain paso mucho tiempo sin venir a la vuelta españa, para hacer principalmente tour de francia, igual que armstrong.

@yoviazeuncorral Pero en sus años gloriosos Armstrong solo iba al Dauphiné y al Tour, aunque también ganó una medalla olímpica. Indurain siempre compitió en dos grandes vueltas, corriendo la Vuelta cuando no estuvo en el Giro. Y siempre que pudo asistió a los Mundiales en Ruta, cosa que Armstrong no hizo. Por eso creo que Indurain es mejor, no solo porque era completo sino por competir más. Rominger lo hizo muy bien para no ser contrarrelojista pero lo de Indurain en esta etapa fue inhumano.

si armstrong hubiera estado toda la etapa de indurain, no hubiera ganado ni un miserable tour, y los ke ha ganado, contra rivales mediocres y dopado hasta las cejas.

Induráin barrió en esta crono y casi sentenció aquel Tour. Hundió a Rominger y humilló a Armstrong, todavía a años luz de su mejor nivel.

According to Memoire du Ciclisme, Indurain was 7th at the classification in this stage and Armstrong was 8th. Armstrong was the first rider overpassed by Indurain and started 2 minutes before him, nevertheless what the commentors (awful both of them) say.

Indurain mucho mejor ciclista que Armstrong. El unico que aburre es Armstrong, sin rivales y dopado. Mirar los rivales de Indurain (Bugno, Rominger, Casagrande, Ugrumov, Tonkov, Leblanc, Chiapucchi, Virenque...).

if Indurain overpasses Armstrong, that mean Armstrong was 2º in general clasification until this moment ¿right?

@laviolette2 now I understand. whan was overpased, the comentarist say that Armstrong "started 6 minutes before Indurain". That mean that Armstrong was 3º in the classification, and make a slow time trial until that moment. As you sea, he not finish the race

Good God what a blowout -- two minutes in front of Rominger, four to five minutes ahead of everyone else! Good thing I liked Indurain, or else I would have found those early-90s Tours massively boring . . .
