but i usaly get them with some circus 1990tys late flip shit! lol but when i do skate switch you can tell its switch. kids today i cant tell witch way they skate and i think its not as a big deal skating switch as it was back then. and thats a good ting in my opinion
i skated in the 90tys and still do today and no i dont suck!! i still fuckin rip for a 34 year old skater im married and work full time. tim gavin was nasty in his time and he quit because switch stance really started to come in around 1992 and he wasint down with it so he packed it in. alot of pros did the same as well. im the same way i kill it but i struggle with some switch shit..when i play skate with younger kids they get a letter on me some times with a switch hard flip i cant do those.
WOW....U dumb cunt! 24 one piece of shit! You were probably riding a scooter out of your dad's dick when Tim Gavin was ripping it up! It's faggots like you that should of never picked up a board! Fuck off and die you inbred scum fuck!
what are you talking about, its hardly anything but rap in skate vids these days. plus i dont consider the 90s the "dark days" skating was less popular, more fraternal and less commercialized and you could actually session spots without being kicked out immediately. so much better in those respects than how it is today.
@oxidindigo what are u talking about man kids and pros these days made skating more popular by making vids more interesting and commercials are ment to sell product without commercials there wouldnt be that many new sales and pros wouldnt be as popular and of course u get kicked out faster theres more ppl skating these days idk about u but i want skating to advance
dark days? are you kidding me? it was the most innovative time in skating and it wasnt sold out by a bunch of ceo in suits and mtv executives. hip hop was a big part of skating then, but so was soul, funk, and a lot of indie music
When you quit skating after so many yrs like I did. Your mind thinks it can still do the trick but your body doesnt. Its hard to make a come back unless you can skate everyday.
@shinesinpines lol i quite skating over five years ago, but bought a nice set up to trick around with my friends. pulled off a sick tre to elbow smash.
1st skate video i ever bought. good times . just around the golden era of skating

At least he was skating to real music in his part instead of all that crap-rap going on in the dark days of skating in the 90's... :/

dude the 90's was skateboarding's birth of innovation, it was also when i learned how to skate... def not "dark days"
chinanigans 2 years ago 6
tim gavin was quoted saying how hard it is to pick between rap and rock for a part. your taste in music isn't deciding the quality of skateboarding.

yeah, but when youre the team manager for a skate team, you should at least set foot on a board every once in awhile.
talktal 2 years ago
@jayesone exactly! mentally you know what to do, but its so foreign to your boby. its actually more frustrating than first learning the trick.
