i skated in the 90tys and still do today and no i dont suck!! i still fuckin rip for a 34 year old skater im married and work full time. tim gavin was nasty in his time and he quit because switch stance really started to come in around 1992 and he wasint down with it so he packed it in. alot of pros did the same as well. im the same way i kill it but i struggle with some switch shit..when i play skate with younger kids they get a letter on me some times with a switch hard flip i cant do those.

what are you talking about, its hardly anything but rap in skate vids these days. plus i dont consider the 90s the "dark days" skating was less popular, more fraternal and less commercialized and you could actually session spots without being kicked out immediately. so much better in those respects than how it is today.
