Nice work! The T-Rex's head needs to be a bit more stationary, as it's a predator and a therapod, the ancestor of modern birds. Perhaps a bit more hip rotation and planting the foot more beneath the body for weight/balance.

@velequest If you saw a trex and filmed it you would shake... The shake adds to the immersion the viewer gets with the video

I understand that, but the amount of shaking (In my opinion) take away from the video as a whole.

I did not feel immersed.

For example: The first thing I looked at was to see if the feet looked like they were making contact with the ground. When they did I new it was a great model. About the time I was going to admire it even more, the camera shakes in overly violent jerks.

Just my opinion. But I felt cheated out of seeing something cool.

@123rebelguy search for " matchmoving " , you need a tracking programm like boujou ( i think how to get that, i dont have to tell you ) , a 3d programm like maya , 3ds max or cinema 4d , and something like after effetcts where you can turn a video into single Jpegs. and search for matchmoving tutorial on youtube or so

@Sketio well long story short...you get an animation..rig it and animate it and the you go ahead and make the animations background to green or black or white...an oppisite color of the dinosaur...and the open uo an editing software and you use luma key...or you green screen the animation....and the guy was just actually just acting it out you render and BAM you did it...hope i helped....

Let me guess...

Why is it that nobody pays any attention to left/right weight shift of the hips? Animators, please! Another big issue is the inertia of the head and tail. When hips go up, head and tail are NOT. Yet another thing: don't spread his legs so wide.

In ten years, software will be at a point where anyone can make a movie on the scale of Jurassic park, independence day, etc. We'll be able to animate actors perfectly and stop paying people millions to act. Movies will be cheaper, and anyone with a good idea will have a complete studio at home on their desk. Imagine, hundreds of versions of Jurassic park 4 by individuals. Then we just find the best one.

so you actualy had to make the dinasaw then animate it and then render it out is that right did you use 3ds max to actualy make the dinasaw. youre work is amazing by the way. verry cheeky but do you have a dinasaw that i could use just to try and get use to how to do this i no you have put so much work in to doing it. but if you could i would be so so so greatfull
