  • In instances in which the nest of the hemophage is not known but the hunting grounds are, hunters have found success drugging the hemophage. This requires that the hemophage consume the blood of an organism already under the effects of the desired drug. Hunters have reported the greatest utility from tranquilizers, used to slow the target (though the target may retain hyperceleritas), and anticoagulants, which destroy the hemophage's blood, weakening them and causing them to need to feed.

  • @christiangoth84 The fuck....

  • @Cauld

The hemophage, like any human, has a ribcage difficult to penetrate even with fire-hardened wood. Insert the immobilization object under the bottom of the sternum, at a steep upward angle. When the hunter has the high ground, the space between the collar bone and shoulder blade may be substituted. The cardiac muscle must be fully transfixed. Insert the object as deeply as possible.

On removal of the immobilization object, restoration of the hemophage's consciousness is immediate.

  • @christiangoth84 Except the human ribcage is actually extremely easy to penetrate. It's only purpose is to protect the vitals from blunt force.

May want to do a little research on a topic outside of Twilight fanfic. Faggot.

  • @Cauld

The human ribcage is easy to penetrate with a knife. Knives are narrower than wooden stakes, sharper, and made out of a harder, more durable material. Wooden stakes need to do more than slide against bone until they find space between ribs. They need to break and displace bone enough to gain passage. Certainly a bowie knife or other large knife can cut through bone, but they have smaller points of contact. You can penetrate the ribcage with a wooden stake, but it is not "extremely easy."

  • @christiangoth84 You'd be surprised.

If you ever left your basement that is.
