Harada isn't in charge of Tekken's plot. He mainly takes care of the gameplay. He doesn't care about character relationships. Him commenting on Jin & Xiaoyu does not make them canon but it confirms that it has been in development.

This choice of course for the plot may be viewed as wrong in your opinion. In contrast however, there are people who would like it and consider it right. Liking it is all a matter of opinion. My bf watches EVO religously,and if Harada would have confirmed something like that, my bf would have told me.And this guy thinks Harada has the complete say. LOL if he wants to talk about rumors as facts well rumor has it that Harada almost got fired, for T6's failure. If rumors are true then tells you how much say Harada has. And the few times Harada metnioned jun pre-T6, he never confirmed it was gonna be T6, nor canon or non-canonly

Sato and Harada didn't just discuss BV, they also discussed the game series as a whole and when they talked about the JinxXiaoyu relationship Harada said "game series" as worded in the interview quotes I sent you.

This guy's facts are so wrong even 2-yr-old should know that Harada never said any of that. As far as I know Harada never said anything in an interview that didn't come true. If anyone intrested as to why some Jin fangirls hate on Xiaoyu so much head over to Tv tropes and look up the article 'Die for our ship'. Basically it all to do with pairings and hating a character because there viewed as a threat to prefered couple, which is pretty silly considering Tekken fighting game.
