  • heres a question for you, Both my cockatiels bow their heads to each other and sing to each other, buuuut they fight. one will bow their heads and the other will run away. yet 20 minutes later she'll bow her head and he'll run away. why wont they like each other? they are trying to breed but it seems as if when one wants to the other doesn't.

  • Lol, my cokaiteil pair hate each other, and the female one just layed two eggs today.

  • HEAD SEX!!!

  • Haha theyre so cute and silly.

  • Aww, they're cute! :3

  • they're like please clean me. No you clean me. No you clean me!

  • how do they mate do they have to rub heads

  • Hi, those are cute cockatiels. I have a question. I have a pair of cockatiels that are about 8- 9 months old and there trying to mate, i was wondering if they do lay eggs will they still be friendly to humans? or will they want nothing to do with us? They are 2 very nice birds and i just dont want to loose them as pets.

  • Hi, thanks for viewing my video. Your Cockateils may become naturally territorial during the breeding season, but they should still be friendly birds.

I did use to handle my birds and their chicks in the breeding season without any problems.

    Thanks again

  • @Philnz1965 thier so cute i luv birds i have 12 chickens and 17 duck and 2 Geese’s good luck with your birds!!!

  • ohh they are so cute i have a baby cocatiel when i kiss her she makes a kissing sound it's so cute i may put her on you tube

  • mine does this thing when i say "kiss?" LOL

  • oh wait, so when my friend's cockatiel bowed it's head to me, she didn't want me to rub her head? but..... that song from lionel richie.

  • When they bow heads, it's a gesture of love of "pet me!"

  • I have a female who is oh so ready but the male is clueless although he did it to my hand once. They are a little mean to each other but she lifts her butt up high, bows her head down, wiggles her tail and makes a strange sound and her bottom gets large. Why won't he approach her when she does this? She is calling him over but he won't go.

  • Hi, Thanks for viewing my Video. It sounds to me like they are just not compatible as a breeding pair, I suppose not all pairs get on together. You could try pairing your female with another partner and see if things progress further.

  • Is the bowing of the heads a sign that they are a mating pair? I had a female cockateil who used to do this to our male cockateil but he took no interest.

  • Hi, Thanks for viewing my video. This is a breeding pair and they are both waiting for the other to start preening their head area.

  • Russian stalemate. Both want to be preen, neither wants to preen the other. :)

  • Thanks for viewing my video, you also have some good video and you have a lot of Cockatiels.
