i must admit that your reproduction of this song is remarkably accurate. the similarities lie not only within the guitar parts, but in the backing track as well. everything from the sound of the guitar, the bends, the long falls, the choppy attacks, the drums, fills, and whatever indistinguishable background sounds there may be are so so so similar. you may not know "how to play piano" but you've got some kind of incredible talent. i'd be very proud of this if i were you. good work. keep it up
I made the backing track from scratch. I'm not sure which software allows you to remove instruments from a song. Heard about JamVox's guitar extraction but never tried it.
I would have to agree with Lyokowarrior 91 why are you down on your self this sounds dam good so be happy with what you posted okay by the way 5 well deserved stars and dont get down on your self
This is possibly one of the most impressive synth usage I've ever seen. I've never seen someone use the modular dial as effectively as you do. Many props to you, my friend. ( :
"A crappy attempt" This is badass. If this one of your crappier offerings, your GOOD stuff probably wouldn't sound out of place on the next Daft Punk joint.
"I had to manually do it with the pitch wheel" Watching someone work the pitch bender is fun. It's the keyboardist equivalent of [insert fave guitarist here] getting right up to the edge of the stage and bending the hell out of that 12th fret B.
Moral of the story: This is cooler than forgetting to put the toilet seat down before ya sit.
it's the F-zero version of rainbow road man, everyone should know that it is a version like that, eventhough i love mario kart and isn't much of a f-zero player this is fuckin' good
IT`S NINTENO DUDE .. hey midiman is that u playing the keyboard ?... very good! :P ... i have a keyboard , too =).... again the whole RAINBOW ROAD music is made by nintendo for f-zero x and mario kart ...^^
My least favorite part of the song was 2:31, when it ended.

I understand why you thin it's crappy, but I also prefer your version over the original. This sounds very nice.

I've decided to just release the backing tracks I made for this video so that everyone else can jam along to it.

It's a Casio CZ-3000 but keep in mind that's not where the sound is coming from. I'm using it as a midi controller.
