he flipped koolanoo group for US$120M to the prime minister of qatar. he really played the game to the finish line, made the noise, made the traffic, made the hype and left before it all collapsed, classic move. was the first foreigner to launch a site that actually was 'flipped' for money. Like him or not its irrelevant, he came to China and in 3 years left with $120 million, great play.

He sold koolanoo or its real name KGIM for $80 million in 2009 to Qataris before everything crashed. Very shrewd. It was reported that he recently bought a $20 million home in Israel and is somewhat retired at 35. He played the game on a lot of people in China.
I agree. Lots of Chinese families in Camden Market have lost their jobs because of Mr Kobo's father. I don't know if O.D. knows, but I do feel for them. Camden Market's are doing bad this winter and they still have to pay the £1500 week rent. Poor souls.
O.D. Kobo and his father, Bebo Kobo, don't have a great reputation in the Camden area. Apparently, they own the Camden Markets and are big time extortioners - charging their tenants up to £1500 a week! Most have been evicted and some are going without paying their bills. Can you believe that?! These guys are billionaires and they don't have a heart for poor Asians who work so hard there.
Just read an article in FT about this company. States that they own several other products and are launching a browser in China. I guess that is aggressive approach I been reading about the company management as well. Definitely and interesting geography and sector, a listing might do wanders to this company, depending on the market. Valuation is under valued compared to Internet companies listed on the HKSE. If market picks up could be an interesting buy
I reading alot about this company. $350 Million value.
Baidu report say 360Quan is 'spark of online China'. Very confident CEO, extremely aggressive progress, it is phenomenom here in China. Very good company to buy. New product browser very important. IPO in summer is very very fast very good to buy here China company very good

This man, yes make millions, but he has greedy personality and cold heart. He has bad karma and so do his father.
No compassion to our people or to foreign people in work place. Only cares for himself and the rich. Bad Karma. Bad.
