@Scyeth he can tell by the Japanese characters right below the screen and it's probably a type of cheat like in DDR how there's a cheat to speed it up maybe it's a cheat that makes you have to read the smaller print

there are characters on the white strip on the bottom which says what tye of note it is. that mode just hides the visual don-kat notes so it forces the player to look at the words instead.

When I went to Japan, I was totally addicted to Taiko no Tatsujin, I didn't stop playing until I got blisters and they popped... I kinda just walked away from the blood-stained taiko sticks after realizing that.... ahhahaha XD

While I agree that the two drum playing guys are impressive, this guy still is the best. I watched several other taiko drum vids, and the ones that are doing both drums arent getting much more than 20-30 hit combos if that. This guy was getting 500-700 hit combos. Plus playing a faster song. So, even if you added the scores of both drums on the other guys, this guy would win.
