Jakes, and a plethora of others, therefore, people of the world flock to these churches because apostate pastors, bishops, etc will not offend them with sermons like P.Washer. Hum?

I think it's sad how Baptists have turned on Washer simply because they do not like his preaching and teaching on sin and how truly dangerous an unrepentant heart can be. It's also sad how many people are putting their faith in popular teachings on grace which clearly contradict God's word. We obey God's word not because we have to to be saved but because we want to out of love for Jesus. Unwillingness to repent because of bad doctrine will not result in grace but will only result in judgment.

I love Paul Washer and I'm glad that he always speaks the truth to the best of his ability. I will not contradict anything I've ever heard him preach, but...
I work through a small ministry with recovering drug addicts. Many sincere people who truly love the Lord have weak flesh and have been so beaten down by their sins that it is devastating. I refuse to believe these people are NOT saved by God's Grace simply because they cannot beat their addictions. God Loves the Sinner and hates their sins. I, or Paul Washer, cannot read a person's heart. Trust God and trust the gift of Salvation through Jesus Christ. We are saved by Grace and Grace alone!
True God hates the sin, but it's not totally correct that God loves the sinner. True, while we were still sinners God died for us, us= His own. We are dead in our sin, when God regenerates our heart, He no longer sees our sin but Christ in us. A Christian will have some victory over their sin, because they have a new nature, they are now in Christ. It may be 5 steps forward 2 backwards, but there will be victory over sin, as they look to Christ and slowly are sanctified. God Bless!

Plus, did you know that before the print that Bibles were hand copied? Can you even imagine how many hours and how expensive those were? Some say in equal to tens of thousands of dollars in our time. Less than 10% of people could read up until the rennesiance anyways. The Bible was born through the Church. The Church compiled the first Bible and made the official canon of NT. W/out the Church you wouldnt know what a Bible is so please stop offending the Church deliverd Scripture to the world

I work through a small ministry with recovering drug addicts. Many sincere people who truly love the Lord have weak flesh and have been so beaten down by their sins that it is devastating. I refuse to believe these people are NOT saved by God's Grace simply because they cannot beat their addictions. God Loves the Sinner and hates their sins. I, or Paul Washer, cannot read a person's heart. Trust God and trust the gift of Salvation through Jesus Christ. We are saved by Grace and Grace alone!

True God hates the sin, but it's not totally correct that God loves the sinner. True, while we were still sinners God died for us, us= His own. We are dead in our sin, when God regenerates our heart, He no longer sees our sin but Christ in us. A Christian will have some victory over their sin, because they have a new nature, they are now in Christ. It may be 5 steps forward 2 backwards, but there will be victory over sin, as they look to Christ and slowly are sanctified. God Bless!

By the Spirit we have been given the ability to kill sin. No matter the addiction, God WILL free His children from sin.

The question is: are they truly repenting, not are the beating their addictions.
