@FantasyCulture indoor skih ills are use in countries where there are no hills and not much snow, for example, The Netherlands, I live there and there are a few indoor halls where you can do this. look up snowworld Landgraaf. Its just basically for countries where you can not ski or board naturally

@FantasyCulture you go the same speed if your snowboarding inside or out so that explains the need =], you just obviously dont have the same glare of the sun. there are quite a few indoor ski hills were i live, you dont get much snow other wise. hope this explains

Well you can sometimes find them for cheap. I bought my 09' Khaki military A frames with Vr50 Emerald lenses (lenses cost 80$) for 68$, so yeah you got to find the deal ;)
