  • i'm John Titor from the Year 2036

  • They could of done some other, important studies, things, with those billions! I don't believe one word of that Big Bang study! Come on, BILLIONS!?!?! I don't buy their explanation...

  • What is annoying is, every time they try to explain shit about science, allmost all they explain about are its history. How many of these videos are we getting of the same thing, how it was built etc. We wanna know how it works, we want examples of its capabilities, we want to see experiments, we want to hear scientist. But all we get is history, i hate it. Look at science docs today, same thing, frikken history lessons every time.

  • the earth is 4 billion years old they would die 15 billion years in the past

  • @GingerRants

Haha! How can you travel back in time before there was a time-machine?

For example: If i turn on a time machine TODAY... after a week i could only travel back to since when the machine was turned on... not before it because there simply was no machine to do so...

With LHC we hope to catch sounds, images and stuff from the future.. not the past.. If it stays on for 100 years from now, then in 100 years we can travel back to now.. not further back!

  • I just love how they say this shit like they are 100% positive they are completely right. Then they come back like a couple hundred years later like "Pluto isn't a planet. We're sorry. Using the idea of the LHC, time travel is possible much easier then flying around a sun really fast. I think it's possible by colliding magnetic fields together. Positive against positive give forward travel. Negative against negative gives backwards travel.

  • @Netkiller3714

Flying around the sun will not give you time travel.

The only things that experience time dilution at the LHC are the protons flying at near light speed. For them time comes to a crawling halt.

  • recreating the early conditions is not really going back in time. Thats like saying going to an amish community is traveling back to 1865

  • maybe they are gunna open a black hole to suck up everyone's negativity and all us positrons will be left here to evolve in peace hehehe

  • I cannot believe that no one knew that this sucker was being built for 20 years.

  • all i want to know is, is it going to rain next week, they cant even predict that properly let alone what happened at the big bang.

  • Did UNO approve this scientest experiment which could be result in distruntion of world?

  • @Ayubajbnabi and how would it destroy the world? Like you would know that you'd be sucked up by a blackhole... you wont even notice your dissapearance..

  • @Ayubajbnabi UNO, UN and all the other fucking organizations are working together to fuck us up

  • I dont understand why these scientest want to under about how man lived in past? What is the benifit of it? And to know the past what will be the price? and if the price will end up in blackhole and distruction of the earth then what is plan b, c, d, and .... to protect the human life and this planet ? why these scientest go to any other planet and do their stupid experiments there?

  • @Ayubajbnabi THEY DON'T CARE AS LONG AS THEY CAN PLAY

  • @Ayubajbnabi

You are using the Internet on a computer with a LCD screen, use cell phone. Is that enough reasons? None of the computer chips, LCD screens, TV, cell phones would exist without these experiments. We would even have no electricity. Even Internet you are using is created by CERN.

What destruction of Earth? Earth is still here.

  • @obaeyens LOL Did you say CERN invented the Internet? LOFL!!!! You're brilliant. You know that. CERN colliding protons together did not result in the creation of electricity, cell phones, lcd screen, or any of that. What are you even talking about? Do you even know what you're talking about? LOL. AHAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

CERN was founded in 1954. Sorry to pop your bubble. Electricity has been around since the Egyptians.

  • @obaeyens And CERN creates something as a result of their testing. That is Antimatter. If they were to fuck up with antimatter. Even once. It would be the end of Humanity. And would severely fuck up earth too. Think about this. A pin head of antimatter is the equivalent of 100 Nuclear bombs. The radius from a blast that powerful would easily cover all of the States. Think about that. All of the states. The comet that took out the dinosaurs is a joke compared to that.

  • @Netkiller3714

If you smash 2 protons into each other, how much antimatter do you create?

  • @Netkiller3714

    @Netkiller3714

CERN did create the basis of the html you are using right now.

The current LHC experiments requires massive data processing and these technologies will become the basis of the next generation of internet technology.

  • Holy shit, why do people have to start discussions about religion under every motherfucking video about the LHC???

  • I like Frankie Boyle's comment ... if they discover what they are seeking, our reality fades away into a white sheet and a neon sign glows overhead ... "Level Two."

  • Great video.

  • 20/12/....20-21Des=20/12=2012 ? CERN, testing full power ( LHC ) Time Travel ( black hole ) funnel from earth directly 2 outer space = super vacuum ! Hope the doors, are strong enough 2 close fast enough, so we dont lose all the oxygen, on earth, in a few days ! Or maybe stuff get' s sucked into the hole ! Each LHC end-cap is 13 metres in diametre and weighs 240 tonnes ? Open a black hole, from the moon, 2 outer space, no danger, because of equal atmospheric pressure !

  • if its identical will our existance re start all over at the same anomoly(sp)to explain itself to begin with or is there a true end.and then ...?something like unnatural natural to a individual?

  • WHENS IT GETN TESTED AGAIN????

  • In november 2009

  • It will be fully operational (they think) by Christmas

  • the title of this documentary is bit misleading tho :>

  • WICKED!

  • God is the answer to everything. Why dont people just accept that?

  • Your scientific illiteracy makes me shutter. That was ignorant to say. Believing in something is key to everyone, but pushing your beliefs on to people does nothing but cause problems.

  • I guess you didn't read my reply so well. I was just making a statement. No pushing, no nothing. You can answer the last question though. Or is that too much asked?

  • because my friend God dont explain shit just tells u to hav faith without proof

  • which particular do u mean?

and what is ur evidence it is the right one?

  • if we had accepted it, we would't know what we know today.

maybe we still believe that God causes the rain or the lightings.

We would't have a computer to watch youtube.

    Think about it.

  • There is a God who made the Universe, but after we gained knowledge, and he killed the world, he sent his Son to say Organised Religion is bad (O.R.), cuz they push beliefs, and proved it by letting O.R. kill him. Would Jesus love the money and power the Catholic Church have? I think Physics might let people know, and not by destroying the world.

  • i don't believe in god because there is no empirical evidence that proves its existence. why do you believe in a god?

  • Comment removed

  • The supernatural or divine realm is much like the physical or natural realm. Much as you can't believe because you don't research or know, you really can't not believe until you have actually disproven it through some intellectual process and research. I believe the things I believe about the supernatural world for the exact same reasons I believe what I believe about the natural world. God, etc. has proven Himself, etc. to me; dreams, foretelling, a variety of things. Everybody's different.

  • "dreams" "foretelling" are worthless as a way of knowing anything.

  • Good; see you in the funny papers.

  • @ytmoog I thought so too for years as I don't believe in all the supernatural crap but I can assure you some people have abilities that me and you don't. I believe in science. But there has been things that I have experienced that can not be explained with conventional science. I'm not saying its supernatural or has to do with "realms" and crap but I have seen an illiterate person predict the future in details. I have looked for scientific explanations but find nothing that can explain my exp.

  • @authorless Because the odds are too great that particles just randomly collided with each other and out came man. It is more likely that there was a greater force at play. Also, Have you ever thought about what created the Big Bang? It is described as a hot, dense sphere or orb which has all elements and forces mixed into one massive object in the middle of nowhere. If this is so, then where did it come from? Did you ever stop and think that this Big Bang orb may be the work of god's mind?

  • @from212 If you want to ask "have you ever what created that?" then i have to ask you: have you ever wondered what created your god? The theorized singularity that existed before the big bang didn't have all elements, it had all matter. At the point the big bang theory general relativity breaks down, neither time nor space exist. Therefore, it is impossible to know what came before it. That doesn't allow me to inject a god without evidence to support it. I can't make an argument from ignorance.

  • @authorless You sound just as closed minded as a devoted christian. So what you are telling me is since general relativity breaks down any assumption about this singularity would be considered ignorance? Also if it had all matter how did it not have all elements. From my understanding all elements were combined into 1. And why cant this singularity have evolved a consciousness? This would explain the odds and explain the luck we had to become what we are today. It is a theory, how is it ignoran

  • @from212 I fail to see how it is closed minded. You cannot know what came before the big bang singularity, that does not, therefore, give you carte blanche to make something up. An argument from ignorance isn't saying that your assumption is ignorant, it is saying that you are basing your assumption on a lack of knowledge. How do make the assumption that life is some great anomaly? Describe to me what "consciousness" is.

  • @from212 It is a fact that you a comprised of elements in quantities proportionate to their natural occurrence in the universe (baring helium, which is chemically inert). You are based on carbon, one of the most chemically active elements. That it binds with other elements isn't odd, nor is it a coincidence. If you look for miracles, you will probably find them; if you look for answers, you will probably find them.

  • @authorless No scientist that truly understands evolution will tell you that there is no mystery about how the first organisms formed. But yes it is a possible that your theory is correct. All I am saying there is greater possibility that something, somehow manipulated the creation of the universe and everything in it. It just seems like a more viable explanation than your "carbon clumps" theory which also can't be proven 100%, jut like my theory can't be proven. It is just a theory. Not fact.

  • The LHC is a weapon. Is to be used against someone from outer space. Who could that be? Allah, Jehovah, Jesus, Catcelqutal. God, WHO is coming here and why?

When you know this you will know what the LHC is fore.

  • Yeah, the LHC is a weapon designed to destroy a bit of ignorance. While it may be less important than the search for Jesus' coprolites, and less powerful than the superconducting supercollider could have been, it still promises to give god a nice swift kick in the scrotum and catch whatever flies out.

Now what harm could that do?

  • matter and anti matter

the christ and the anti christ

    wow..

  • omg!!! your right!!! those things HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH EACH OTHER!!!! what a coincidence!!!

  • Ha ha ..yeah..they do and they don`t..LOL

  • i lol'd a bit about this too, yea

  • lol

  • the lhc will likely create the biggest toilet in the solar system causing massive employment for buttwipe makers and plumbers

  • AND to continue the search for the "god particle" too right?

  • you miss understood the video. its not a time machine, just a buffed up particle exelerator.its to understand how particle acted and moved moments after big bang

  • the only problem that the hadron collider can cause is a rupture of the fabric of space (black hole), if it's fed enough it can grown strong enough (unstable state) to suction the hall LHC facility and more if it's not stopped.

  • Please, don't breed.

  • Comment removed

  • If you have the balls support your point than being an ignorant arrogant bastard.

  • Where's your evidence to support your original point? The notion of the LHC creating a black hole large enough to "suction the hall LHC facility and more if it's not stopped" (sic) has already been disproven several times by several leading physicists not only that but it is ridiculous and shows that you know nothing about physics. You're merely repeating out the same BS that every other moron has been about the LHC. Simply put, you know nothing.

  • Also, How old are you 12? You really need to calm down, take your tin foil hat off and get out of your mothers basement.

  • The fact that Physicists have already disprove this point does not mean that it is not possible. There were scientist that have particularly discussed matter on hand, have repeatedly mentioned a possibility for the proton particles of rupturing channel ring if the electromagnetic fields are not strong enough to control proton's velocities. Conclusively, this project it's still under experimentation so don't believe statements that are not yet proven completely but rather theoretically.

  • Ok you're right, jus't because the theory that a black hole created LHC could destroy the world is disproven, doesn't mean it isn't possible. However, the likeliness of creating a black hole of that magnitude is laughably unlikely, for a start there is in no way enough energy to produce them, you do know how black holes are made right? of course, certain extensions of the Standard Model of physics do suggest that micro black holes could be created by the LHC but they would be...

  • in another dimension and would expel enough Hawking radiation to decay before anything could happen. You said originally that LHC could create Holes in space time that could destroy the LHC itself, THAT is wrong, you are correct however on the idea that the magnetic field on the ring could malfunction causing a catastrophe, however that, again, is unlikely to cause a black hole that could do damage.

In conclusion, YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT SO PLEASE DO NOT BREED.

  • It's like you live in fantasy land, whatever these opinionated Physicist say you follow like little kid.

  • You have to be a troll I swear. No one who actually knows what they are talking about would be saying what you are saying. For a start you've contradicted yourself by saying that an unproven theory can not be taken seriously however a disputed idea that's been disproven is still possible? you said yourself "The fact that Physicists have already disprove this point does not mean that it is not possible. " about the idea of LHC made black holes destroying the world being proven extremely unlikely.

  • Dude I said and I code " 50-50 percent chance" that means that there is indeed an equal possibility for one of those events to happen. So think before you comment. As you mentioned before, that there isn't enough energy to create significant size black hole. Well that can be true but you forget that black holes feed on matter and that classifies everything including light.

  • That's not the comment I quoted from, go back and read what you wrote before.

You have to be a troll, you're just stating uneducated statements to try and keep the argument going. There isn't enough matter inside the ring where the protons would be crashing to create a black hole or at least allow it to grow, if there was then the protons would be crashing into other atoms before it even got the the first stage of the LHC, there isn't ANY matter in there because it is a VACUUM!

  • Sure, but you forget that the isolated system itself is made out of matter.

Will the magnetic field of the Hydron Collider be able to contain the micro black hole from expanding?

  • Of course, but you're forgetting how small a proton is! if the micro black hole has nothing to feed on then it can't expand and will waste it's energy as hawking radiation. A theory which is more than just an unproven theory, read The Universe in a nutshell, the theory has been proven mathematically since 1974!

I'm going to be the bigger man here and suggest that we just part ways. You believe what you want, I'll believe what I want and simply agree to disagree ok?

  • Are you stupid, a proton can increment it's mass massively at massive velocities that in this case is 0.99c, which to me looks pretty massive don't you think? That can be dissipated in potential to kinetic energy dumm fuck.

  • Why are you still arguing?! The mass of the proton, even at that speed, is still not big enough to create a black hole that can destroy LHC. I just don't understand why you are getting so angry about this. Like I said, you believe what you want, I'll believe what I want ok?

  • The reason I get angry is because you act like if you had already acquired the right measurements necessary for safety. Those protons that I mention are massive enough to rupture the channel ring and create a massive explosion at the LHC facilities.

  • Seriously, You don't need to worry about the LHC creating black holes. And if you don't worry about that then you either don't care about the danger, want black holes to be created by it or know that it wont happen. Please stop this now.

  • Let me ask you something, how many Joules do you think are carry out by this particles? putting that into perspective, now imagine their collision at a specific point, where not only one collision will occur but millions simultaneously. I bet you don't even know the number of impacts that will occur at each cycle and how much energy will be transform into kinetic during this process. Thus, don't comment if you are not capable of understanding this complexities.

  • LMAO Are you still going on about this?! How sad are you that you are still trying to prove the idea of the LHC creating a black hole that can destroy the world. Like I said, believe what you want and stop arguing like a child over the internet. No, I don't know the amount of Joules that are generated by this experiment but I doubt that you do either. If your belief in that stupid theory of yours isn't a reason to breed then your stupid persistence in this matter is.

  • You still have not answer my questions about the LHC's particle's kinetic energy transformation but you do know how to run from it by calling me sad and all other names. As I said you are pathetic and can't handle the complexities of this material thus, step down, and shut up.

  • GOD ! Ok at an educated guess I'd say between 6 or 7 Tev. Does that shut you up?

look that fact of the matter is that you're still arguing about this, not me. You keep going on and on trying to assert how intelligent you are, I've already stepped down when I said about I believe what I want and you believe what you want but you have to keep going on. So why don't you stop now cos quite soon I'm gonna start ignoring.

  • I am not asserting anything, but rather just simple facts that you need to consider before commenting. BTW, those numbers you listed are pretty high of the chart, I suggest you do a little more research on the matter before commenting. Regards.

  • Oh ok, fair enough, so what are the correct numbers? Do you know or don't you want to say?

  • Look, we can always tell god that we were just trying to perfect a machine for getting the most of each stone we throw at sinners. Once he thinks we were planning to use it on gays or something he'll be cool with it.

  • Well that sounds good, but some would love making our lives healthier based on memories, I hope I can free myself from them one day.

  • Do you know how long this machine will be running? do you know the rate at which this machine will be delivering numbers of impacts. My best guess is NO, you don't know that, so Physicist believe that this impacts will reach equilibrium shortly after is being turned on. I bet your answer would be something "unlikely because there ins't enough energy" . Black holes do not expand in magnitude with energy only but light as well and other variety of other sources.

  • Oh but you do know that? don't worry, I'll wait here while you go google it and pretend that you do.

You really are a retard if you think that LHC while create a massive black hole that can destroy the earth. You really are.

You're just talking non-sense now. You're basically saying that the collision of two protons inside a vacuum can create a black hole big enough to destroy the LHC itself. WHICH IS STUPID.

  • It's not TWO PROTONS, it's a RANDOM NUMBER OF IMPACTS that are NOT controlled but rather expected to be controlled when they occur.

  • OMG

  • And remember "moron" theory is a 50-50 percent chance.

  • I've got proof how lhc will destroy the world, how can i contact the scientists?!?!?!

    i'm serious!

  • let me see this "proof" you speak of. I know many many scientists and I'm sure they would love to know

  • I m a scientist myself, what secret do you know?

  • galaxies come and go.

    the multiverse is INCREATE.

  • Say in another world and universe like us they embarked on same similar journey of discovery and shot particles and that explosion created our universe? As space time is relative 15 billion years to us to them maybe a split sec work in their large hadron collider? We could then be potentially making small universes forming others. smaller particles to develop similar space time scenarios for further universes.Who knows this thing we call universe could be soe other worlds experiment.

  • Hello benjaminjean1984. What interesting comments. They are simply put but tickle the imagination & bring forward that which I love,,, WHAT IF?

I agree with you but may I add one more nasty ingredient to the mix that most other people ignore. What if our being, our existence is a MISTAKE. An experiment went wrong, a quirk of nature that went astray. Are we a Cancer a melanoma that is destroying our host while the host seeks to kill us off ASAP!

  • lol on the cancer-host thing. I was looking at the mandlebrot set or julien set couple months ago and it really opens your eyes to infinity and the nature of structure and how our universe could be some part of a structure because we are so small and the universe so big we can't fathom the relationship but look at the mandlebrot set which apparently was found in naturaly occuring in black holes. Gives you the natural relationship between speed of light and infinity and possible values.

  • Dear benjaminjean1984, your getting away from me there I have to admit. Fractal math was not my strongest suite, but I gather the rough gist of what you suggest & add my own twisted ideas to it. What if I am a Mandelbrot set of myself ?, heavy

  • don't know what i am more scared of my imagination or yours-lol

  • I have enjoyed our brief Utube conversation & U R right, my imagination is a bit off center. I write science fiction as a hobby so a wild imagination helps. Take care benjaminjean1984. Please keep me informed of your future thoughts on the magic question "Why R we Here"

  • We are here to explore! Lol.

  • I'm sure you know why we are here, right?

  • nice knowin ya Hal !!!!!!

  • another think they are curing cancer with the money where do you think radiation treatments for cancer commes from disneyland lol

  • its not gonna ruin the world relax bud, this isent the first hadron collider its the biggest but not the first.

  • This shit is wack its so gonna end the fucking world why the hell are people spending so much money to help make this when they can be helping curing cancer and all those kinda things man thats bullshit they could of make a City in africa for the dieing ppl wow

  • Scientists are good people with lives and families too, you know. They wouldn't build the thing if they thought it could end the world. -.-

And it's not just about curiosity. Pure research creates theory that eventually finds its way into technology. It's incredible what modern technology depends on (quantum physics in your cell phone!).

As for "saving Africa" or whatever that is, it's nowhere near enough money.

Please don't be so angry about things you don't understand.

  • I hope this thing works!

  • All of you who make those ridiculous claims about how this is going to destroy the world are simply uneducated in the subject.

I'm not saying I know much about this, I know very little about this field of Science. The thing is, if you don't know what you're talking about don't act like you do. I don't, though I know about the Scientific process and I can use my initiative to think and realize that they aren't going to waste billions of dollars to destroy the universe.

    It's common sense.

  • Why are people saying this is fake, that it's the devils work and that it will cause a black hole

You really think some of the most intelligent Scientists in the world would completely ignore the risk factor? When doing a simple lightbulb experiment in Science you have to write up at least half a page about the potential risks and the damage it could cause.

Something like this would have hundreds of pages discussing the risks, if the risks are either catastrophic or too high they don't do it!

  • Each proton will have the momentum of a complete locomotive traveling at 120 mph. Now imagine how fast it will travel.

  • "Each proton will have the momentum of a complete locomotive traveling at 120 mph."

    Far from it.

They have about the same momentum as a flying mosquito.

  • Hahahahahahah, dumbshit.

  • "Hahahahahahah, dumbshit. "

    ?

    How so?

  • "They have about the same momentum as a flying mosquito."

I see you said momentum now, I didn't realise that before so maybe you're right because momentum is dependent on the mass and the velocity so... well you said it in the first place so I know you understand, don't worry, it was my fault. Sorry.

  • I love this stuff. I have some interesting LHC CERN info on my page too.

  • You are retarded.

Things way stronger than this have happened before naturally, and have gone almost unoticed!

  • fake lol

  • No it's not, on september 10th last year they fired it but was shut down because of an error! you suck!

    it is real!

  • Time and Space is an illusion . Go to sleep and goodbye space/time , it s so evident . Only Now existed . The past is your memory and the futur your imagination , what is real in that ? Reality is here and now , not yesterday or tomorrow .The past and the futur is a tool for our government only for the impression of evolution or progress , changes . We go nowhere , and we come to nowhere , we are free all time .

  • Space and time is not an illusion, they are units of measurement that used to show the relativity between objects much like all measurements do. If I moved at a "snails" pace when I was walking, you would most likely characterize that as slow because your generalization of time is perceived by your environment. Your environment is characterized by yourself or objects around you which make you interpret your volume of "space".

    120 liters, 40 meters, and 20 seconds.

  • its not a illusion in human expirence, but it is an illusion in reality beyond space and time

  • time travel cannot be possible. time isn't in the form of particles. and if it was achieved, going back in time will have great effects in the present.

  • That's what I'm afraid of O.O the chaos theory.

How do you have 2 thumb downs?!

Saying Time travel is possible, is like saying there are other dimensions

    and flying speghetti monsters!

  • Excactly!

One small change can have huge effect over a long period of time. Even one small change in the origin of the big bang could even destroy the universe.

  • olololol

  • I would say that I dogged this when I first heard about it. These days I am more interested and learning more about the interesting word and universe in which we live.

  • This is what I have been waiting for. All of the crazed religious people on this planet can keep talking to "the invisible man". They can keep fighting their religious wars. As soon as the wormholes are found, I am out of here. Kisses.

  • LOL! I couldn't have said better! Congrats steph, you are on the right track! I'm all along with you, long life to the LHC and humanity!

  • do you think there is any risk of them creating a black hole? my understanding is that it is "highly improbable" but not impossible.

  • bla...

  • They are sure it is impossible, it isn't even NEAR as strong as things that naturally happen every day.

There is 40,000 scientists working all this, I think we can trust them.

  • And if we trust religion we destroy earth and mankind.

Hmm... I think i'm going to go with the logical, beneficial, rational decision.

  • Comment removed

  • you guys just don't get it :) the creatures that live live in the center of the earth are going to harvest the black holes and use them as a new source of energy, as the primary reactor located in the earth core is dead. the construction of the LBHC was influenced by the creatures, thanks to a gov conspiracy. they are here.

  • wait wait wait a sec so you people really think that there was nothing at all then all of a sudden "god" created the world and all the plants and animals including man in 7 days and then that's it? I also suppose you agree with all of the mass murders that have been done in "gods" name as well? Un-freaking-believable.

  • believe what you want, no one cares that you don't believe and you don't care that they believe. stop making people sound like assholes, you asshat. and to tell you the truth, i don't know what the hell went on. BUT, i will say that either way, everything is very improbable if you say "out of nothing". because technically, by saying there is literally nothing, nothing COULD exist since energy could neither be created nor destroyed. so how did the big bang, well...bang?

  • ok well lets go with what you said. sooo where did "god" come from? nothin can be created or destroyed right?

  • "so how did the big bang, well...bang" science has only brought us to just after the bang occurred...there are only hypotheses' about before this. To throw a god in for the explanation of before this moment is just asinine and archaic. The more science moves on the smaller and more irrelevant the "god" hypotheses becomes.

  • LHC Tunnel DOTCOM is F/S on eBay!!

    Ebay Item # 160282551867

  • WHY are so many bible bashers watching this? there is no god what is god prove god .Religion has been the cause of so much damage to the human race its not real ,us being humans need to know stuff thats what we do ,we need proof ,evidence the truth thats what this experiment will do

  • before i sound like a evangelist, i'm really not. but first off, you don't know if god exists or not. second, people's interpretation of religion has been the cause of so much damage. third, none of us were around to witness anything, so i think it's unfair to say you really know what happened when you really don't. third, humans don't need to know stuff, we want to. there's plenty of ignorant people in this world that don't give a shit. :) just consider the options before you make a statement.

  • Prove god? That is like me asking you to prove the truth, nobody knows anything certain and when you think of god it does not automatically mean you have to imagine religion or a godly being punishing/rewarding you for being good/bad. I do belive that something created what we belive to be the physical universe wether it was a big bang or not. What kind of powerful force did such thing remains a mystery that I doubt we will fully understand soon if ever, without beginning or end? We don't know.

  • Although it is true to say that some concepts of God are unfalsifiable, it does not follow that all God concepts are. For instance, a God where the world was the top of his head can be shown to be false quite easily. Similarly we can use archaeology, cosmology, geology, physics, and biology to examine biblical history.

Ppl share ape DNA thus origin,

Biblical history very incorrect, Universe 15^9yrs old, mean that Yahweh story is falsified.

I am an atheist, but I like to think of truth as God.

  • KenBT214...I thoroughly agree

  • this is gonna end the world....

    remember my words!!

  • Yay! The Yanks let us have a turn in ruining the world :)

  • Why did they have to make the circle so big and at vienna??? A prediction by Nostradamus was made about a black hole near Vienna along with many quotes in the Bible. they are looking to make a black hole on earth. YOU ALL NEED TO WAKE UP!!!

  • You're delusional. Our atmosphere is constantly bombarded with particles of much higher energy than those that will be produced at the LHC and so far the Earth hasn't been swallowed by a black hole.

Nostradamus and the bible authors had about the same understanding of particle physics as you do, so why would I care what they have to say about the subject?

  • How many times did the world suppose to colapse according to the Nostradamus predictions ? Where are you people are coming from with all of these shits... Get real

  • Where did the bible say they are trying to make a black hole on earth? What is the point? God would not allow the world to end like that and especially not before his prophecies came true.

  • and I thoroughly agree with you there, first time I heard anyone say that, you are a good rare person to find

  • Thanks. People keep saying this is the end of the world. I highly doubt it. According to the Bible that is NOT how the world ends. The world isn't even obliterated, it's just burnt to crisp then renewed. Just like in a forest fire, after it burns everything, fresh new plants grow. Plus the anti christ hasn't even shown himself yet. Only thing I can say is 'maybe' this can kick off something like a disaster, possibly. But I'm not that worried. Everything must go according to the plans of God.

  • satire i get it :)

  • true, god created the world and he'll end it.

  • its called the god particle, the end is nigh

  • CERN are Brainwashing Everyone they manipulated the goverment with this stupid experiment recreating out "big Bang" theory all CERN really is gonna do is DESTROY EARTH , CERN is a cult and the Large Hadron Collider is... the machine of doomsday. trust me on this...LHC HAS TO BE DESTROYED

  • ok... >.> your a christian? because they ARE brainwashed

  • down with the corrupt leaders of the american sheeple

  • october 21st ;)

  • btw the lhc has nothing to do with timetravel its ging to recreate the moments right after the big bang, essentialy its a blackhole maker

  • this is stupid the LHC inst a time machine its a black hole particle accelerator it would fire 2 beams creating a small black hole unfortunately it was only able to fire one beam so there starting it again in a few months

  • mmmmm... ni siquiera has visto el video digo yo... en el principio del video dice el porque del titulo del video... sabias que hasta un pedazo de vasija es una maquina del tiempo? o un hueso de dinosaurio?
