@kaleyley0829 You're a loser for for making fun of those of us who cried. Obviously you never learned anything from Sesame Street or Mr. Rodgers. They both taught us not to make fun of anyone else... :)
@Jennafu832 Fuck you you stupid BITCH/CUNT/JACKASS. Eat A Fried vagina...BITCH.......obviously you're in special ed cause you haven't LEARNED SHIT!!!!!! just kidin, you're right. I just think it's wierd to cry at this. but honestly, people get older and look down on kids and seseme street, but fail to practice the same ideals they learned from these shows. ideals like: don't lie, cheat, fight, etc... so you're right, I just defer from the whole crying thing.
Why are there three "dislikes" for this video? I am trying to picture the scenario where some Simon Cowell sort would happen upon this video, watch it, and mutter something like "Meh. Singing turtles...they should have just let Uncle Edward sleep." *dislike* Enjoy life, friends. This is a perfect moment of nostalgia.
When I was little, I always thought the turtles were birds at first glance. Must've been the beaks. I mean they almost look like birds from the front, right?
I'm freaked out right now, cause I was trying to find a jaguar sesame street clip today, and for some reason this song got stuck in my head for hours.
I was trying to remember where I heard it from. I was assuming Sesame st. I was just about to search for it here, but saw these familiar turtles with the 12345 song, and then it brought me to this other familiar looking one which is this one, then I was going to plan to search for that follow song after, guess there's no need now :P
does any 1 know where i can find the chop sticks song from sesame street i think it goes like this i can eat with chop sticks can u eat with chop sticks so ick up ur chop sticks and i'll teach u how
The deja-vu seeing those badly animated turtles is seriously tweaking with my head. It's like, barely half-formed memories from when I was like 4 and then seeing them again my brain's all WAIT WTF HAVE I SEEN THIS? Very confusing.
"And THAT, uncle ed, was a round". XD Luved these songs on sesame street. Anyone remember "B is for bubble" with all the kids blowing bubbles with bubblegum and "the ball goes up, the ball goes down" with all the kids in the water throwing around a ball?
I now want to sing a round too! I always thought a round was difficult to do. I need to find my sisters and we need to find a song we like and sing a round.
HOLY BRAIN-STEM I remember this clip so well! Ever since when I was a youngling, I like this so much. Ah...thanks for bringing me back the memories. :)
This particular cartoon has never left my brain-- thanks for posting!
And Ermaco74: The piece is a small catch called "Come Follow Me" by a 17th century composer called John Hilton. And it's not always the "redwood" tree everyone's rushing off to.. it was originally the "gallows tree"! (yikes)
What always bugged me about this is why didn't he join in on banjo halfway through the round if he was getting so into it at about 1:00? Whenever I feel the groove, I jump in. I just want to know why he didn't.
I do believe this was my first exposure to counterpoint.
