@bettypro Bloody cold! Big old home are fabulous in warm weather, but I damn near froze some mornings. I missed the nice warm weather of western canada! :) oh well..

This is so much like my first months here! I arrived in January too, and that damned wind can literally drive you insane. We've had a bad winter this year, and as I'm watching this, the bloody thing is still howling. It's like no wind on earth - it takes over and goes on and on, and normal life is impossible - it's indescribable. Makes you want to ask Sarkozy for a refund, when you've come here for sunshine and warmth!
