As a first year medical student currently two months into the curriculum, your videos have been very inspirational. I'm currently slaughtered by exams but its always nice to be reminded of what I'm working towards. I feel like you have a great attitude and insight in medicine.
Why would you want to hear about cutting edge things in a conference when you are a first year med student who knows essentially nothing? Just study like crazy and start building your knowledge. Leave the conferences for when you have a good foundation of medical knowledge.
hey man, congratulations in almost completing your years at Harvard medical school. I'm sure you put much hard work throughout your years there. I hope you change a lot of people's lives. I wanted to also thank you for the videos you put about your experience at medical school. Your advice and comments was an undiluted account of med school that gave me motivation to study hard at my college, so I could get to medical school, preferably Harvard's.
Thanks for your email. If I can trouble you, I'm having a little problem sorting out this cardiothoracic elective.
It is quite difficult to get accepted without any connections to Massachusetts General -- I was wondering if you have the name of the surgeons/ department that you did yours on?
If you have any more advice, it would be absolutely invaluable to my application (because right now it seems quite unlikely that I'll get it).
hey dude..i read on your profile that you're 27 .so im assuming you didnt follow the traditional path where you go from undergrad to grad..maybe you did something else??
what was your journey like???
and can you plz put bluntly what someone would need to get or even be seriously considered for harvard med....?
Hi, I have been following you for quite a while now. I am just on my way to apply to medical school this year. I am curious to know, what textbooks are used in medical school? I would like to prepare myself mentally. Thank you.
I've followed you since my beginning years as an undergraduate. Thank you for your insightful video blogs. I'm currently applying to medical school and I would say one of the many things that excite me for medical school (both the good and bad) is watching your progression through it at Harvard. I wish you well in your future endeavors as I begin the long journey of mine.
@Mrmoc7 what is your problem, I was giving him an accolade for all the hard work and the obvious natural intelligence to get into Harvard med, who do you think you are telling me to shut up. Grow up.
so... 1) attend conferences in your area, particularly seminars that integrate evidence-based medicine with discussions aimed to improve your medical skills 2) expand & diversify rotation background by experiencing subspecialities :) thanks! oh, i have a question, so, 4 years later, what do u think is the most important characteristic trait to have while in med school and as a doctor?
