If the mechanics in the game are dumbed down for retards, I will pass on this game in a heart beat! I like the visuals so far, but until you play it you have no idea! If they are going to sell out and sell to the masses your going to get a trivial game that will get old quick. I don't understand why anybody would want to do that, but greed can ruin any kind of possibility of their being honest effort into a game to benefit the gamers instead of the company. If this game fails, MMO fails!

@jyoung0000 I played it at PAX this year, i can assure you this game is not for the retarded, my group struggled and we were playing a 5 man, Bear in mind we none of the skills or the dps rotation so we went in there blind, i don't think you will be disappointed

@TheSonicAndMarioFAN I belive that the game is a mmo with singel player conversations. Although this is a MMO there are some mechanics that can be seen that you could play singel player. But mostly its an MMO star wars game.

@DjBlindShadows There are 8 classes total in SWTOR. The Jedi and Sith have 2 each. The Jedi have the Knight and Consular. The Sith have the Warrior and Inquisitor. The others are the Smuggler and Trooper for the Republic side...and Bounty Hunter and Imperial Agent on the Imperial/Sith side.

I like the aesthetics. The Republic ship with it's pastel colors, open rooms, well lit and with lots of curves; and the Sith with it's steel greys, hard angles and claustrophobic architecture really reflect the personality of their factions.

Swtor will not be that much sandbox :\ but it will certainly be the best game ever created by the human race. Bioware knows how to make good rpgs, And with all the money they had from ea collab. I think they can make a very good mmo to, with a good gameplay, sandbox element, and a good end content. It was like 6 years ago the rumours about this game. ive been dying all day since then and tried to cryogenise myself a lot of time.

@0megaFin Not KotorMMO, but from the videos that have been released, it looks like speeders will definitely be in the game. Also, the music of SWTOR video showed someone riding a Tauntaun - so it looks like there will be other mounts besides just machines.

@alexanderhakansson Bases on Episode 2 of the star wars movies, Bounty Hunters get EPIC ships. Yet again, that is 3000 years in the future :P. Bounty Hunters=Epic

BioWare has said that each class will get its own ships. However it seem as though the Knight and Consular will be sharing the Vanguard as will the Inquisitor and Warrior with the Fury.

@gosford82 This is transport, as well as a place to interact with your companions ala the Mass Effect series and KoTOR. Also, anyone in your group can enter your ship, so you can hold guild meetings, get together and plan things, etc.. As for its travel uses, just because it may not be flyable in space from launch - well, that's what xpacs are for.
