If it won't idle:

Clean your muffler screen, clean or replace your air filter, check your fuel filter and finally if none of those work, adjust your idle speed screw.

Try starting my way, with the engine resting on the grass so that it doesn't move. Switch to "Cold Start" prime 5 times. squeeze throttle all the way, pull rope till you hear it start to go. Then switch to "Run" squeeze throttle all the way and pull rope. Once it starts release throttle and see if it'll run for a minute.

I always let the engine run for about a minute fo warm up on cold starts. Manual says to and I find it runs smoother too.

That looks like an SRM210, I have the SRM265S and absolutely love it. 5 primes, Switch to "Cold Start" and hold throttle, 2 pulls, hear it kick on, switch to "Run" 1 pull and its good. More than enough power for edging and thick weeds, very little vibration, idles quiet. Can't believe you hate yours!! Stabilizer helps fuel but 1st start of a season when the tank was dry, that fuel should be a complete fresh mix, 93 Octane, 2 cycle oil, and stabilizer. Echo .095 Crossfire line's great.

do you guys use stabilize in your fuel . i use it every time i get gas , it makes for easy starts and no carb problems .

i started using it when i got a home back up generator . i havent had a problem out of any of my stuff since . just squirt 2 ounces in 5 gal . can when you fill up. works great

its just a fuel additive that makes gas keep longer. the gas wont gum up in the carburetor as easy .

you can buy it at any autoparts or hardware store.

its called "stabilize" , you can buy it anywhere, its a red looking liquid . just ask for stabilize fuel additive .

you put the stabilize in your big can when you get gas ,

its like 4 oz stabilize for 5 gallons gas,

then mix your premixed gas same as always .

it tells you on in the bottle , do an internet search for stabilize .

its not hard to figure out
