  • Obama never made a deal of his personal faith, the media did. Obama never made a deal of his upbringing, the media did. All Obama said was that he'd like to bring change to the country. Obama never said he was against the military or speaking rationally to all people of all nations to get a point across, he speaks for these ideas.

  • Obama is a natural leader. He has charisma and he can relate to many kinds of people. We need a change in America, so far, he represents that change to me. The rest of the candidates are old and rigid, much like the current state of government. I want radical change not "business as usual." That's an antiquated system. We need MAJOR CHANGE!

  • The only thing I dislike with Barack, is his religious side. State and religion should clearly be separated, as it stands in the Constitution, and thus the religious side of him should not be a part of his campaign or possible presidency.

As we well know, religion poisons everything ...

  • i disagree with you on the note that religion defines the man, so to the point where we dont understand what faith a man has means more secrecy in our leadership we dont need. There is a difference between church and state, and hiding who you are as a individual. As long as decisions are made without church as an influence, there is no problem whatsoever about knowing where a man stands on faith.

  • i hear you...i'm not religious AT ALL. However, this country will not elect someone who doesn't have a religion, sadly. Obama is a constitutional law professor. I think separation of church and state is safe with him. He has spoken about the importance of such separation. Relax my friend : )

the world has spoken,,and they want obama as the democratic candidate!!!!,,, have your say!

  • remember, remember! 12/16!

  • Please don't do this to Obama. He will be killed.

  • Would Black religious leaders ever support an asian american running for president? If not that sounds racist against asians, we need people who can look past race as the reason to support a canidate. I worry that Barack Hussian Obama would cause great division and controversey in the country, We need someone who can bring people together not cause hate and hurtfull feeling about preceived entitalments. When will a native american indian get this far in an election?

  • Reply to JoeWhittington :Yes Black leaders will support any person that will inspire hope and peace. Barack is about unity amoung all Americans regardless of race. Some people still have a race issue. He is clearly the person to bring the next generation of a color blind USA. McCain is the same as Bush(Warmonger}. All the naysayers and attackers of Barack are using fear tactics that have no base. Open your eyes my friend ,stop the hate and get on board. We need change. Obama 2009!

  • where are the white folks?

  • Southerners... Good Crazy??

  • great speech

  • Obama is the only front runner than can bring TRUE change for the better of us all.

  • why will obama post this on youtube?

is not really wise to align politics with religion.

religious people vote, i know. but a president that believes that there is not heaven might be less prone to send soldiers to die. just an example
