@rollspach have you heard it in person? only, if you have heard it in person, can you tell me that it sounds like crap. the camera can't pic up the mids and highs over the bass, because its so loud. saying "no one ever {balances their system} is completely false...do you ask every person that gives you a demo if they have balanced their system?  EVERY system i install, including mine, has been equalized. Even though its ridiculously loud, doesn't automatically mean its unbalanced.

I run my highs and tweets on deck power and the subs and the mids on separate amps and move the fade forward to balance out the sound. I also keep my sub amp gain turned way down ( 2 Alpine E 12's). I don't wanna jackhammer concrete I just wanna listen to good clear sound and it sounds awesome. I am running a 1600 Watt JBL on the Alpines and a 600 Watt xplod on my mids. Deck power is 52x4 on the highs and tweets with capacitors on all 8 speakers. Sounds better than I can explain here.

i dunno. i havent found any stereo even my buddy with 4 DD9515 in his suburban using stock door speakers and an alpine flip double-din doesnt have the speakers too over powered. can hear the highs but barely hear mids. thats why i keep my system on half power though. if i turn it to max rms on my current battery while running the car the battery will die.

Well I'll say this That set up is nice. The sub box is designed really well but all I have to say this for ya. If I were to install tweeters in the dash, I wouldn't just tape them on and run the wires over the dash. Or leave the wires hanging out of the doors for the door speakers.....
