Funny in Fallout 3 when that one tunnel snake guy asked for my help to save his mother, i followed him killed him, than killed his mom. But in this game I saved EVERY little sister, i just felt that it would be wayyy to cruel to harvest them T_T.

Thwy force you to choose to do either on the first sister you come by, so what ever you do to that one effects the ending, i went to try that today and fount that out, Made me sad. :(

Simple greed. Ryan was investing in fisheries while Fontaine was investing in genetics. He was supposed to be convicted and killed, but there was always a lack of evidence. Eventually, Ryan would execute an attack on Fontaine, in which Fontaine was supposedly killed.
while everyone believed it, Fontaine had taken on a new face, with the intent to overthrow Ryan be pretending to lead the people in a rebellion: Atlas.

He manages to get away to the Big Daddy training ground, the training center for Big Daddies, the bodyguards for the little sisters. You must then become a big daddy to enter, by getting a suit, boots, helmet, and "perfume." You then escort a little sister to where Fontaine is waiting for you, having to guard her all the way. At the end, you encounter him personally for the first time, where he only five minutes ago mutated himself with every plasmid available and is now completely deformed.
He then reveals himself as Fontaine (after many in-game details across the city give u hints) and tries to kill u. Tenenbaum's little sisters (the term for the little girls) save you, and she tells you the truth, and that she removed some of Fontaine's mental-control abilities. You then must find a formula made to override his control completely, after which you go to finally kill him. He escapes to the genetic engineering center where all the research on the matter took place.
When u get there, Ryan detonates the bathosphere and Atlas pretends to cry about his family, when he was actually gonna use it to escape Rapture. Ryan continues to hunt you down, as Atlas leads you through several other strange scenarious (Sander Cohen, Arcadia, the EMP bomb, check these online) before finally killing Ryan after he tries to destroy all of Rapture in an explosion. Using a genetic control for the entire city belonging to Ryan, u let fontaine use it to stop the explosion.
Atlas (Fontaine) tells you to harvest her for ADAM, telling you that she is a monster now because of Tenenbaum's influence, the person who started the whole ADAM deal. Tenenbaum begs you not to kill them, and instead promises to reward you in other fashions if u instead free them of their condition. You then make a choice for every little girl you find... Atlast tells u his family is trapped in a bathosphere that could take them to the surface. You and him fight your way there.
All the years of fighting caused rapture to decay and everyone to go nuts from panic and plasmid abuse. That's where YOU come in. When Ryan was dating a stripper (your mother), she got pregnant. Without Ryan knowing, she sold the egg to one of Fontaine's scientists without knowing. Knowing it was Ryan's child, they had the guy genetically manipulate it so that Fontaine could control your mind and make u do his bidding without u even knowing.
Oh, also, ryan actually killed fontaine in a shootout (or so they THOUGHT). Anyway, while everyone thought fontaine was dead, he had taken over a new identity: Atlas. Using it, he played on people's generosity and took in those too poor to survive, manipulating them and drafting them into his own little army, by injecting them with the plasmids made from ADAM and controlling them with it. The fighting between Ryan and Atlas (fontaine) went on for some time...
They implanted the sea slugs into hosts (the little girls), so that they could produce even more of the substance that gave the man his hand back; ADAM. As ADAM's uses became aware to the public, everyone flocked for it. Fontaine (the other greedhead) had been the only one to invest and control it at the time, so his business flourished. His contrary ideals to Andrew Ryan, your father and the city's creator, made him and Ryan fierce enemies. Ryan arrested him and took control of his business.
in the game, your father is actually the creator of the city. he built it in an anarchist fashion encouraging self-reliance and denouncing altruism. another greedhead showed up and found the woman who is talking, recognizing her genius in the field of genetic engineering after she showed a theory of hers with supernatural powers, after she saw a crippled man regain use of his hand after being bitten by some kind of sea slug.
After a couple of years, he sent u to the surface with fake memories implanted in your brain, so that you wouldn't remember what had happened. Many years later, you took a trans-atlantic plane flight which crashed next to a lighthouse in the middle of the ocean; the bathosphere leading to the city (rapture). Atlas was the first to see you, and pretended to safeguard you. You meet Tenenbaum, after she protects one of her little girls from being killed for ADAM by a splicer (plasmid-abuser).

I think I'll have to be content with the good ending. Thought I'd see different splicers slaughtering the crew which would have been fun. But all I see are the usual Baby Jane (this splicer model) spider splicers getting all the attention. T^T No offense to any fan of this ending though.

I think it's great that the game lets you make an important moral decision that affects the game playing. I couldn't go through the whole game killing Little Sisters, so I refused to obey Atlas even though it would make the game harder. I made the decision based on what I would do if this were real life. Also killing Little Sisters is not something the "good guys" would do. At the end of the game, I was very pleased with my decision.
Soulsuicide do you really need someone to answer your question "i fucking killed only two LS! does it make me evil?" You're asking if killing 2 probably eight year old girls makes you evil? If you don't know the answer is yes that makes you evil than you have some real problems. But to answer your question: Yes killing even 1 child makes you evil. Especially if it isfor personal gain.
But it's not for personal gain - it's to save Atlas's family. And besides, as Atlas points out, those things aren't human any more. Okay, so saving them restores them completely, but you don't know that at the time. Sacrificing some murderous, blood-drinking freaks who will doubtless die when the city falls apart anyway to save someone's family doesn't seem evil.
He takes everything because he can and he wants to, everyone has fuxed him around so he decided he'll go rogue, since he has all the adam the splicers join him and obviously the submarine that found the plain wreckage happened to be a nuclear sub, remember this is around 1959. It doesn't really mean anything it's kind of a cliff hanger really, lets you think about what would happen next.

you killed the little sisters cause you were power hungry. As the quote goes, "The only thing men with power want is more power". Jack realized that ruling a city wasn't enough for him, especially full of hopped up artists. So he moved to the surface with his army of splicers and took over the world using nuclear weapons and such. Notice how he took the key to Rapture forceably from the little sister, this symbolizes that you no longer have emotion and all that matters to you is power.

Sad ending- Harvest more than 2
This ending- This means you pretty much went on a rampage and harvested every last one of them.

My friend told me that harvesting is the right thing to do..because he saved the all, and he got "a really sucky ending."

I think I'll have to be content with the good ending. Thought I'd see different splicers slaughtering the crew which would have been fun. But all I see are the usual Baby Jane (this splicer model) spider splicers getting all the attention. T^T No offense to any fan of this ending though.

I never commented on any game, or even commented in Youtube until now, but i just completed this game and had to write this. im playin computer games for like 20 years, so i think im experienced now.
this game is Great. i have a busy life and usually dont get carried away by this kind of thing but i Did. The problem-i killed one LS in the begining beause i was told to do so by Atlas, and i get such a disapointing ending? why? i saved ALL of the others in ALL of the levels! thats just not fair!

I think it's great that the game lets you make an important moral decision that affects the game playing. I couldn't go through the whole game killing Little Sisters, so I refused to obey Atlas even though it would make the game harder. I made the decision based on what I would do if this were real life. Also killing Little Sisters is not something the "good guys" would do. At the end of the game, I was very pleased with my decision.

But it's not for personal gain - it's to save Atlas's family. And besides, as Atlas points out, those things aren't human any more. Okay, so saving them restores them completely, but you don't know that at the time. Sacrificing some murderous, blood-drinking freaks who will doubtless die when the city falls apart anyway to save someone's family doesn't seem evil.

He takes everything because he can and he wants to, everyone has fuxed him around so he decided he'll go rogue, since he has all the adam the splicers join him and obviously the submarine that found the plain wreckage happened to be a nuclear sub, remember this is around 1959. It doesn't really mean anything it's kind of a cliff hanger really, lets you think about what would happen next.

you killed the little sisters cause you were power hungry. As the quote goes, "The only thing men with power want is more power". Jack realized that ruling a city wasn't enough for him, especially full of hopped up artists. So he moved to the surface with his army of splicers and took over the world using nuclear weapons and such. Notice how he took the key to Rapture forceably from the little sister, this symbolizes that you no longer have emotion and all that matters to you is power.
