the rite of passage always gets me...the music and all...even in this case when there's no commentary from the three (probably best, since I don't want to hear what Brian has to say). usually they don't include the commentary from the f3 if they weren't ever on a tribe with some of them, as in this case.
It would have been nice to have commentary from the fallen comrades themselves, then, though.
still, it chokes me up. Shii Ann, Jake, Helen, Tanya, Ted, Stephanie, first boots...sniff...
I know I´m in the minority with that but I really like the silent rite of passage better. Its much more natural then a bunch of people who are just talking some good things ( that they don´t really mean) about someone ( they don´t care for ) just to look good on television.
Tanya vomiting, Stephanie curled up on the beach in her raincoat, Robb strangling Clay... man. Even the video editors are just contemptuous of how bad this season was, this is the most gloriously sarcastic Fallen Comrades Montage yet.
I guess Jan is next to go everyone wants to go to the finals with Clay because he doesnt stay any chance with the jury and dont think Jan would win immunity. If Clay would win immunity then i suppose he would pick Brian anyway. 1st Jan is woman 2nd i think rest of survivors like her for some to me totally unknown reason and that would be fatal. To me it looks like Brian wins already. Well played I guess but still dont like him.
That whole imaginary donuts/coffee breakfast was just weird. Kooky Jan must be rubbing off on Brian and Clay. Either that or they had some leftover wine from Ted's reward and it didn't show them drinking it beforehand.
They had to vote out Ted & Helen the two most honorable members of this unholy group. I guess if you believe a used car salesman you definitely get the lemon.
I like how the montage shows them at their worst, instead of their best moments on the island. Tanya blowing chunks, and Robb choking the shit out of Clay, instead of maybe catching one of those balls or something. Ghandia freaking out, lol, this is too much.
There's just music. On other seasons of Survivor the remaining three always share a nice comment or memory. I'll bet the music is there because these three players had nothing nice to share at all. Clay doesn't give a rip about anyone and that slimey cars salesman, that looks pretty well off, doesn't give a crap either. I hate selfish players. F***ing pigs. I hope the old lady lush beats those two bastards!
@12guitdown Come on, Brian cares. He said just before the boat ride that he thinks of Helen as as sister.
Seriously, Survivor is an individual game. How can you be selfish in an individual game. Are great golfers or tennis players considered selfish? Is a poker player selfish?
Mine too! I absolutely hate this part of the show...it's kind of pointless.
Seriously though, I really hope someone from CBS went and fished out those floating pieces of plastic from the river, before they drifted out to sea, because just releasing them like that was disgusting. Damn plastic.
I really hate when people pollute our water like this...which is why I usually go out in my kayak in the spring, and fish out a couple of bags worth of garbage out of the local rivers.
CBS should be fined for all the pollution and carbon posioning of the atmosphere. We all pay loads in taxes to protect our environs, then CBS pulls this unnecessary shit. irresponsible
They are my favorite part.I love seeing all those people in the season, and just get a chance to remember them. This part usually makes me sad cuz it makes me realize the seasonis almost over.

Brian may be a strategic player, but he strikes me as being a sociopath, a real creep

So true! But hey, at least this season had a final 3 tribute, unlike Amazon :( which did it unofficially at the final 2

@12guitdown
Actually in the first few seasons they don't comment at all.

They didn't talk any season before this one either.
Does anyone know which season it is that they first talk about the people on the rites?
