No, it's not tail heavy. The beautiful flare comes from the combination of a delta wing and leading edge root strakes. The strakes create lift at high alpha that reduces the normal nose-down pitching moment, which makes it easy to pull the nose high.
Have to say, I'm blown away by this plane. It looks to handle like a dream.

What motor, prop, esc, and battery were you running in this particular flight? What are the dimensions and weight?
BTW, I still have an almost finished Northstar I'm thinking of converting to electric, but like the smaller size of the polaris better.

Nice job of flying. But, why do guys tempt fate and fly in populated areas? Here in Canada we would get our flight insurance cancelled.

That's really nice. Is it particularly tail heavy? It seemed to flair pretty hard at low speed on those landing approaches.
