Hey Oscar; As a 56 year old metalhead and Zappa freak, I have been watching your videos for about a year now and have enjoyed them immensely! I put them up on my Facebook page occasionally and my friends really enjoy them too! Also, I am not versed in any kind of musical instrument, so I have a question that needs an answer...What is the reason that you play a seven string, as opposed to a regular six string? Thank you for all the videos you've made; keep it going!

@phalnix1 its pretty much just to have that extra lower note that does sound good for riffs and for stretching purposes. like say you have to play the first fret on the E and go to like the 13th or something. it just makes it easier for riffs on the lower notes. and like i said, a low b sounds really cool =D

@phalnix1 Too add to Frankie's answer...Buckethead's guitar is a baritone which is a 6-string but tuned lower, B E A D F# B, as opposed to E A D G B E (standard guitars). A seven string is usually tuned B E A D G B E, which gives the best of both worlds.
