I raise fancy & racing pigeons & will say, they are not great nest-makers. Usually just a few sticks. I have to put pre-made nest bowls in the coop so the eggs don't roll off onto the floor. In the wild they nest on cliffs, undersides of bridges, rocky outcroppings, so a nice little roof like that is perfect. The male & female mate for life & take turns sitting on the eggs & caring for the hatchlings. Those likely won't hatch since it looks like they are too exposed & about to roll off the roof.
