It's not very detailed, but basically you and your wife die in a car accident; instead of going to heaven, you are trapped in purgatory until you do god's will to kill a bunch of demons... there are some twists I think, but that's basically what it's about. Also, you want to find your wife... something like that.

Yeah, I agree. This game had the best use of ragdoll physics back in the day, and although I wouldn't say that it is the best game ever, it sure is a good one and it's a hell of a lot of fun.
