Until Humanity grows past it's irresponsible infancy, we are in danger of destroying ourselves.

This will be the transition from a Type 0 Civilization to a Type 1. Once Type 1 is achieved, then humanity will become an eternal presence in the universe.

The sooner we as individuals figure this out, the less suffering we'll create before accomplishing our ultimate destiny.
