I have heard from many people that 340's are underpowered. Even so when I watch the planes takeoff where I live, a fully loaded UPS 747-400F gets in the air faster than a passenger 340

Very nice - landings like that are why I had to install the "Have Landed" signs in my airplane.

I'm surprised the spoilers weren't deployed a bit earlier, when the runway's wet you want to get the full weight down quick for good braking and to avoid hydroplaning. A 9.5 from the Canadian judge.

When I saw the abbreviation for China Eastern and the words "smooooth landing at YVR" being that I am from Vancouver and I use to fly with students from China Eastern out of Boundary Bay...I couldn't beleive it. And yet, here I am stunned and awed at this once in a lifetime land for this pilot and this airline.

@ToInfinity1 Look closely to the wheels before, during and after touchdown. If pilots landed it using them hands, the aircraft would shake like a ship : )
