I remember this, I was about 5 years old & this was 1 day after WrestleMania 19 after Triple H defeated Booker T & retained the World Heavyweight Championship & Shawn Michaels defeated Chris Jericho. At the next pay per view Backlash (April 27,2003), HHH, Ric Flair & Y2J defeated Booker T, HBK & Kevin Nash in a 6 man tag team match. Then at Judgment Day (May 18,2003), HHH got disqualified in match with Kevin Nash & retained. Then at Bad Blood (June 15,2003) HHH defeated Nash HIAC.
Why did Kevin Nash suddenly becomes Diesel again when he returned to the WWE? I thought that he was way cooler when he was Big Sexy in WCW. He should have stick with that gimmick.

I think it has allot to do with the opponent. Bret Hart could have a good match with a broom, and Mable, well, he's no Bret Hart :) As far as WCW, when the money is guaranteed, there's not a whole lot of incentive to go out and work your butt off.

TNA isn't as strong as WCW was, but maybe someday.

I remember watching this at the time and thinking things couldn't get any worse.
While I'll admit things have gotten better, it'd be kinda nice to see Nash in the WWE again, or even see Jericho with long hair and wearing the Y2J tights. Even to see HHH in tights that weren't always black.
If only Triple H would job more when he was holding the title. I was a huge fan of his back in 99-01. However, after awhile he got stale because he would never put anyone else over. That is why it cracks me up that he would job to Booker T of all people.
In regards to Nash, I could never get excited over him for some reason. He definitely got a better crowd response then I was expecting here. It was a sweet powerbomb on Jericho though.

I agree with jackhammer316 , juanbottello1 and sr19 WWE should focus more on their REAL talented superstars insteads of losing them , look at the TNA roster you will find it full with WWE superstars who was marks of the wwe and to make a good return they should use Kane and bring him a new theme song and he beat up some hated superstars , I said Kane cause he is the like biggest superstar jobbing today and he has talent , that was my opinion , sorry for the long comment !

Making a guy like kane job isnt particularly a wise move.... to be fair with the type of character he has... he should have been this dominating monster that stole the world tittle a long time ago... remember that 3way in 2003... goldberg, hHh & kane? i could have accepted a guy like kane beating goldberg but not hHh winning AGAIN... that could have in turn made an awesome rivalry goldberg vs kane & it would have pushed kane that bit higher, at the time ppl were sick of hHh the champion

i completely agree with you bro, tho i gotta say the 90's wrestling was so much cooler than what we got today... but this was definatley one of the last suprise moments we ever had... & got a pretty good pop too, would have been better had he of been allowewd to use the wolfpac theme i feel

Damn right! For some reason, WWE doesn't do retros no more, except on HBK's theme. It would've been cooler if Nash would've returned with his Wolfpac music and outfit. Or as Diesel's at least, which was my favorite. The 90s were the best cause WWF had competition: WCW. When WCW went out of business, WWF nad no one to compete with. TNA isn't as strong as WCW was, but maybe someday.

agreed... a comeback as diesel was never gonna work as he had decided he wasn't gonna be owned... vince wanted him to be diesel tho, hence why they used his music.... but yeah i wanted the power of the wolfpac :p im hoping that TNA come up and bite vince in the ass, you just never know.. it just might happen, with the younger guys they got & the established stars too, they got a good chance, so fingers crossed, maybe TNA can beat the mistakes that WCW made

I remember watching this at the time and thinking things couldn't get any worse.
While I'll admit things have gotten better, it'd be kinda nice to see Nash in the WWE again, or even see Jericho with long hair and wearing the Y2J tights. Even to see HHH in tights that weren't always black.

If only Triple H would job more when he was holding the title. I was a huge fan of his back in 99-01. However, after awhile he got stale because he would never put anyone else over. That is why it cracks me up that he would job to Booker T of all people.
In regards to Nash, I could never get excited over him for some reason. He definitely got a better crowd response then I was expecting here. It was a sweet powerbomb on Jericho though.

yes he did, wwe wanted him to be diesel again but he said he wasn't gonna be owned and refused to do the gimmick so he stayed himself, notice he'd dyied his hair dark again but that didnt last, he was soon blonde again, but they did use the diesel music, then after this or atleast by backlash they had a new version of the theme to make it more modern, personally i would have loved to have heard the wolfpac theme lol
