I just ordered the 001 and the strap for the 005 so I can switch out the 001's bracelet. Why did you take off the original 005 strap? In pictures, the strap looks like a good fit, but I've read the long lug length creates a gap between pin and watch face - - how is the fit for the original 005 strap? Will I be happy with the fit on the 005 strap on the 001? Like everyone else, agree 22mm width would be better. Pls advise, thanks! Great review!
yeah...the threads seem to have a bit of extra metal on them when new...mine was rough, but now perfectly smooth. many people took dental floss to the threads and said that it fixed the problem.
There is no problem with the threading. It's just that the spring is pressing on the crown against the threads which makes it feel like that. If you push while screwing the crown, it feels smooth.
The MM clasp really transforms the Sumo bracelet and it makes it feel way better on the wrist.
