  • @dimizm: Vielen, vielen Dank !!! Schön Dich hier gefunden zu haben :)

  • Hey Irv...those doubles at 1:52...are really amazing ... I wish I had that in slow motion...

and another quick question...your thanking lots Marty..strongly inviting me to that comp....I did that? or another Marty did? if I did...I more than glad to have done so...I just don't remember I guess...but your welcome if I did...lol

  • Thanks a lot Marty :) It was you :) ThxLots for that, because i might wouldn't had participated.... i guess..... About the SloMo: I'll check it out, but i think it would be fine if i would just send you that Sequence as a HQ-MP4-Video. Else the file has double or tripple size of it ?!?

  • @IrvMstr wow....I can't really remember why and how...but I'm more than glad I pushed you to join the competition...that video was the BOMB my friend...loved it...

if you can send to me in slow motion..mp4...or whatever...that would be amazing...that sequence you do his really nice smooth and eye candy...I want to do that as well...many moves I still have a hard time doing...but in time I'll get them all...ALL OF THEM...hahaha

    thanks again my friend....

  • Dankeschön :D

  • oh man....that was killer...i love it...

you are an expert with the chux and ...surprise : with the staff too..

    Favorite video..

lots of stars for you IRV

    oh and...one word...: TUTORIALS :D

    thank you;)

  • Thank you very very much Levi

I started with bo a long time ago, but

then the chux and poi crossed my way

and i don't spend that much time with.

The tutorials: There are so many excellent

on the web, but maybe i should really think

about making one, including my experience ?!

  • including your experience...of course...

you have some unic moves :D

like those over the head ...and the reverse figure8 that you are doing it at the back.

i saw these moves only at you.thank you very much (bow)Respect.

  • excellent moves my friend !

  • ThxLots :)

  • awesome video m8

i live in austria as well

and can you tell me where to order a nunchaku?

    5/5

    + favourite

  • still amazed by this video my friend...Like ruvidan (soulwire) says...still cant get the btb weave...hitting my head against a wall everytime I try...damn hard to get...

Respect again to your style my friend...I'm gonna post it on facebook so more people will get to see your talent...

    great job my friend...

  • Thanks a lot Marty :)

Don't spin your head to close to the walls, m8 ;)

Try to use my hint, i gave to soulwire below.

Anlalyse the moves with short sticks. The hardest

part (i think) is to get fluidly from forward

into backward BTB. So the best way to get it

down, is to isolate the direction-changes and

    practise forward and backward separately.

Then work on the transition. Aiight ?!

Thanks for embedding my vid on facebook :2thumbsup:

  • Just stoppin by to drop some respect bro. Lovin those doubles. Btb weaves are killin me dude...I've been practicing it for weeks but still cant get em. I just bought myself some fire poi and fire staff.

  • Thanks a lot, m8 :)

Try those BTB-weave with escrima- or short broomsticks, so you can freeze the motion where ever you want or go back and forth. That's how i nailed it. My staff is D.I.Y. (D.I.Y.-Store) 30 $)

  • Very nice bro..I'm starting to get close to that btb weave! thank you very much!

  • Thanks for your advice, Dave.

Would like to know why your comment is marked

as spam and more curious why i am not able to

    unspam it :(

  • You know how it goes Irv,some people don't like hearing the truth.

I have made myself a lot of enemies since we last talked.lol....That was quite a while ago..But I'm still around in the background.

Did you not enter CO ?.

    I will PM you later....

    Dave

  • I know what you're talking about....

Unfortunately couldn't enter the CO09, because

i had massive problems with my foot again.

    More via PM

  • Irv.That was the most artistic style of Nunchaku i've ever seen in 2009,fantastic editing too!

I've been on fnf,What a load of bollocks.

People have to be honest with themselves and to others.

At least one arrongant wind your neck in has gone..

    .

  • Jumbo-Thanks, m8.

I already replied on this one, but wondering where it's gone ?? :( Some of the FNF are really alright and others....make me puke sometimes. Ppl will be honest, sooner or later, if it's comes to their own concern. Already had similar discussion with some FNF-members. And at least it's one less pain in the neck.... ;)

  • btw: even though i missed my entry at several nominations, i'm very, very happy about the BEST DOUBLES and CHALLENGER AWARDS :D They are the most important acknowledgements for my spinning skills :)

  • Well deserved too!

Have you received your pro-chux yet

  • Thanks m8 :)

Got them yesterday. Cocobolo Prochux Doubles.

They look real awesome. Smooth, varnished and

    pretty heavy (244 Gr. - 8.6 lbs) Killer-weapon !!

I'll put them in a trophy case.

  • I bet your thinking,I don't want to spoil these!

I'm not keen on varnish nunchaku, too slippery.especially in the summer when your hands sweat.

With mine i take the varnish off and use wood preservative, much better for gripping

  • You're right :) But meanwhile, you can see that

they have been used a little bit... The varnish

is not that bad. Though they are slippery a bit.

To get a grip on those, i use very, very fine

sandpaper to make them non-slip. Btw. didn't

get any notification about your reply :( Just

    found it by accident... !?!

  • congratulations

  • thanks

  • hehehe nice vid :) and good speen...

poi tricks on nunchaku look cool in your version :D

  • Thanks Remik :)

    'Glad, you liked it :D

  • Well done Irv.

    Best doubles winner.

    In my opinion....

    Most artistic

    Best location

    Most difficult moves

You were my favorite to win WC09 with Yetibutt very close.

    Talk to you later.

    Dave

  • Thank you very, very much Dave

I really appreciate it !!! ...About the awards: ...."♫ really made me wonder ♫...."was it because nothing's good enough"...♫....."i tried to be a man and give you all i can"....♫ LOL - For the artisitc award, they rather gave Joseph Beuys a go, because i had to many nominations ....wow.....That was the stupidest apology, i've heard, since i'm at the FNF..... Anyways, thank you very, very much Dave !!!

  • Pretty good.HahahahaHehe.

    ROLFLMAO.

    That was not good.

    That was awesome

  • Thanks most, Dave
