Sadly, her simple-minded, mildly redneck and ignorant views and explanations here are the same as about 75% of Fox News viewers. 47% of Americans voted for this airhead to be a heartbeat away from the Presidency, which is terrifying in itself. Almost half the country would vote for her to be President, even though she is at a middle school level in terms of her thought and reasoning in US and world politics.

@Beeba1 - I meant about half of the people who went and voted, voted for her. I know that only 40% or so of registered adult voters in America actually voted. Still though, the fact that she and McCain got 47% of the vote is scary. I figured she might get 40% or so, but 47% is terrifyingly close to the Presidency.

She is terrifying because she seems to lack a conscience - she honestly feels she is qualified based on her 6th grade level of understanding of geography and world politics. A sane person would have turned down McCain's offer to be VP.
It's also scary that McCain even offered it to her in the first place, as there were numerous other conservatives who would have much FAR more intelligent and more experienced than her. Palin is like the dumbest of the dumbest of possible picks.
