@kren2012 its not, the fuel cell releases energy from the stored hydrogen by removing an electron from it and producing water and oxygen as waste products.
@DXm8 I like the idea and how it works my point is that we dont need cheap products flooding the market anymore if you can do this kinda thing put it to better use instead of wasting resources on a toy that will break in a few weeks.
@kren2012 yeah they're a research company, they need to test out their ideas on the small market first and see if they're practical/efficient before they get put into everyday use. they've recently invented a cheap simple way to refill pressurised hydrogen cartridges with pure hydrogen using water, electricity and a box the size of a toaster.
Its just compressed hydrogen I can achieve the same effect with compressed air.
