please someone tell me why right-hand multiplier? seems you are pumping fish with your left arm (most people's weakest) and winding in with right arm? -also you have to change hands after casting? Why 95% prefer left-hand fixed-spool retrieve and also left-hand retrieve preferred on Fly-fishing reels? I will tell you why it is American con that has been going on for over 40 years now why? Answer=just to be different, and fishermen just illogically accepted it -MADNESS!
I absolutely love mine. I have 7.1 and now I need a slower cranking model. I can't even think of using a different model than a Revo. All the brakes have clickers on them, so when you make an adjustment you know exactly how far you went.
i have an ambassadure ive had it sence last summer and it still kicking i fished for catfish took it saltwater fishing im going to get a revo as soon as i get the money abu garci is bad ass
The SC is another great reel. I have two of these and they perform as well as the more costly models. Ferpri5, the Revo S is awesome. It performs as well as the rest, and has an incredibly powerful drag (should you need it). And the centrifugal brake is more effective than the other models' magnetic brake. The S is the best value.
where can you get the sc do they even make it anymore?

Dont have a great drag???? 24 lbs is pretty stout if you ask me

yes i do agree that 24lbs of drag is quite a bit but, my friend had this reel and its drag began to go crunchy after 2 months.
