@AtlasRider How's the wobbling? I have been thinking about your tank slapper and that soon (after Colombia and Ecuador, when you hit Peru) you will be riding some pretty long, straight lonely highways where 80MPH will feel slow (that's why we BMW snobs like our GS bikes, ha ha), so be careful.

Dude, I know people in Cali, Colombia and Lima, Peru, if you run into trouble in any of those places let me know.

@AtlasRider Cool. Stay safe, keep the rubber on the road. What route will you take through Colombia? Ferry north to Cartagena and ride south through Medellin/Bogota/Cali/Popayan to Ecuador? Or Ferry to Buenaventura? Or...? In Colombia try to hook up with local riders who can tag along, while the country is not the tinderbox it was a few years ago, it still has some unsafe areas. Don't even think about camping by the roadside as you have done in Central America.
