My pastor, Rev pastor JC Milligan showed this to us today at our choir practice and read us some testimonies and let me tell you God is the same here and there God poured out the kw how God works. Never again will our choir practices be the same as they were in 2009. this wasnt attack but only observates I came out of the Roman Catholic Church the mother church and to see pagan symbols in the beginning of this video brings only rebuking in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ... Paul rebuked Peter and he was given the keys to our salvation plan.

Being the light of world is one thing but to associate with the daughters is another. pray on it I to was so much deeper in this false RCC pagan belief..

I thank God for people who are blessed with a great voice who give light in dieing world we live in.. the host of this ventue wasnt not very modest your self.. this country's culture is infested with very ungodly practices and dress.. And if the female host was in a Arab or Israel they would of stone her with her appeal she was wearing... lets not let this infect our Apostolic churches and remade the light of the world we live in today.

I understand where you're coming from, but this wasn't an Apostolic competition, so the only control the AWPC Choir had was in their own dress/actions and because of their dedication to God, they were blessed mightily and God has used them greatly for His glory!!

I have been in the Gospel music industry as a singer and producer and I know alot of these people that are up here "representing" for Christ..they are horrible examples, and I would never be up there on a stage letting the world judge me and tell me what they think..

You are gonna see these so called "pagan" symbols because some churches hold them as holy. the celtic symbol you saw at the beginning is seen as a symbol of the holy trinity. Though it is not a christian symbol at all. There are many catholic and luthern churches that have the symbols in their churches even hung around their priests and ministers.

I heard about the choir from Atlanta West winning the 2009 How Sweet The Sound Competition, but the Holy Ghost told me to see if it was on YouTube so that I could see for myself. God truly poured out His Spirit on this group. It was so powerful that me and all who were watching this with me had an Upper Room Experience right in front of the computer...This proves that the Anointing cannot just be contained in a concert hall on a stage, but even through a computer screen a week later. Praise God!

You're not the only one. There's a school in St. Louis where a teacher showed it to some other teachers and the holy ghost broke out. I don't have all the details, but there has been a trickle down effect from that event and to date I believe over 60 people have received the baptism of the holy ghost and I think 2 people had miraculous healings, all connected to that viewing. Only God knows how he is using this event to touch lives and call all to him. PRAISE GOD.

I am from Detroit, I live on the eastsideeeeeeeeeeeee. Let me tell you all I was there and when this choir finish singing church was over. There was no need to for anyone else to sing. I had never been to How Sweet The Sound. We had church in Joe Louis Area. That place will never be the same. God showed up and showed outtttttttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!! The anointing makes the difference. I say to all choirs stay in the anointing. Let God exalt you and you will go places in Him.

Their choir was on fire at the concert they did last Sunday!!!! It was packed out!! Folks were just worshipping and getting baptised and everything. It was crazy!!! Their pastor said he's going to preach on the secret of the anointing this coming Sunday.

Of all the groups that did this song, about 5 or 6 so far in the competition, they had the anointing. They may not have had all the tight vocals but they worked it because of the anointing. Praise God. I really felt that they made this song their own.

When I announced that my father was battling cancer their was a female in your choir that prayed for him back stage without even knowing him after your performance. If you all think that was something, I went to visit Atlanta West Pentecostal this past Sunday and once again they were awesome. They were welcoming and the message was great, and of course... THE CHOIR!!! And on a side note can we all just appreciate that we were able to praise the Lord on one accord and in good faith at How Sweet the Sound, all of the choirs were great, something about AWP just touched Phillips Arena and lets not take that away from them and celebrate their victory!

Your lingo is of an individual who is unlearned when it comes to Holy Ghost Power. One does not "catch" the Holy Ghost . . it dwells on the inside and shows up on the outside of a believer by the life of Holiness that they live. It's obvious that although Atlanta West wanted to win, they were far more interested in people being touched by God and His spirit falling.What use is a trophy if lives aren't changed.What glory is there in being the winner while others miss a real relationship with a live God who desires so much to reign in their life and give rest.Frankly, a highly,technical sophisticated,talented choir that can't usher the presence of God is like a diamond studded 20 Gigabyte super watch that can't tell time.

Remember this is not "American Idol" with tonight's genre being Gospel Music. I agree that there is no "spirit of God' criteria in judging, although I no not how you could measure it. But I would be worried if I found myself frustrated that God won't mind his business and let us sing about him without his interference. There's something real carnal in craving to see how we do without God's influence. We forget that God has His agenda, to call people to Him using those who are available.Period

Ummmm, I am confused.....Isn't a war a competition???? So, that would mean that David and Goliath were, essentially, in a "competition"!! David won. AWPC won because they were the best, according to the judges. And, if they weren't the best, then the WHOLE arena would not have responded like they did. And, i would guess that a "gospel" choir competition would for sure be the right time and place for the Spirit to be poured out. Just saying!!!!! :)

moist7775-how do you judge a gospel competition on simply technicalities...its impossible. God has the authority to show up and show out where ever he wants...who are you to say there is a time and place to follow the Holy Spirit. This Choir (and several others) were annointed from the first word to the last of the song. If you want a competition based solely on technicalities...go to a band competition or something...Atlanta West did their thing. Will see more at their concert on Sunday.

Their technicality, talent and stage presence was spot on from the get go. You obviously missed the first 4 minutes of the video. Their praise, shouting and dance only followed the performance and was a direct response to Spirit of God. The entire arena was responding to the Spirit, not just the choir!! And if you think they won only because they "know how to praise God", then I guess you see what praise can do!!!!
