  • Thanks so much dude, I wached that Thomas Lang vid where one of the people at his clinic asked him about his twirling and i could never get it spot on but now i got it! xD

  • great tip. cool of u to share.

  • I can tell this is simple to do but it's a matter of keeping the sticks in my hand lol, they keep slipping out lol.

  • how old are u????

  • your cool kid and so is thomas lang, but thats a tommy aldridge signature move

  • must've dropped my sticks at least 10 times while trying to follow along lol

its so much harder with real heavier drum sticks lol

  • Hey dude, good job breaking it down. I was watching his video of how to do it and I was just thinking " sure dude, you make it look simple but you should break it down slower..." I tried and tried on my own... now I get it. Thank

  • Great explanation... One of the best on youtube!

  • Dude, can't say enough! with your help ive only been practicing it for a day or so and almost have it down! thanks again

  • Great video man, not to say you won't be a famous player some day, but if not at least you know you'd be a great teacher :)

  • Very good vid.

  • good explanation... I need to practice it

  • it looks very cool.. :D

  • lol, thanx for teaching me B-) but why not buy a drumset?

  • why the fuck does stick twizzling improve the sound you make with a drumkit?

    isn't tht the whole point?

  • It doesn't. It makes you look awesome

  • it doesnt improve the sound at all.. i dont think??.. its just for show.. and tho it may not mean anything on an album it makes ppl happy to see at a concert.

  • @ale2thec

sometimes people like to look good too. or else drums would just be the color of wood instead of designs. its not always about sound, sound is just the most important

  • no, it's not the whole point idiot, its called showmanship look it up sometime...

  • GREAT!

  • Holy shit! I've been doing that for over a year! I just figured out that Thomas Lang did it first... and like twice as fast lol.

thx so much iv wanted to do this trick for ages

  • dude your a good teacher thanks for this man i was looking for this excatly

  • thanks alot

    i love this spin lol

  • Thanks

    not very long actually

just sit there when your watching TV or doing something else and just spin it back and forth and eventually add the forearm and get it fluid. speed will come after it is fluid. I actually got to the point where i was working on jazz stuff with my Right hand on the drumset and didnt even realize that my left stick was spinning the stick lol

    hope this helps

  • Like it . How long does it take to develop ??
