  • Jerad! lol

  • Jerad Anderson did a fantastic job! ;-)

  • Hey! That's Jerad Anderson behind the wheel of that Mustang!

  • God I miss home, one of these days I'll make it home. Until then I hope that there are some cowgirls left for me.

  • does anyone know the CD this is on??

  • @Mattea68 just google the discography of kellie

  • @Mattea68 not released on a cd, friend of mine who's a radio producer in nashville, made me a special copy of the song.

  • I think the guy drivin the 'stang is her lead guitarist

  • @schtheguitarman @JCenaAngel25 That is Jerad Anderson behind the wheel. He plays a lot of instruments, but his band is 100 Monkeys. They aren't country, but well worth listening to. And yes, he is hot.

  • @gretchenus2000 LOVE your reply! @schtheguitarman @JCenaAngel25 I agree with her whole-heartedly. 100 Monkeys is WELL worth listening to, even better live.

  • damn the guy in the mustang was hot I'd of chased those texas plates too

  • Funny, Kellie was born in Oklahoma, yet she's singin' 'bout Texas plates. She hit #24 in Billboard, 2-04. God bless ya, for postin' it! She needs to make a chart comeback. What's she doin' now? Somebody let me know. God bless ya, for your efforts.

  • i don't think this song was ever released to cd. the album was listed, but doesn't seem to have ever been released. too bad. it's a great tune.

  • Kellie rocks those painted on jeans

  • loved driving in the state of oklahoma and the state of texas back in my over the road trucking days.

always lots of pretty girls to look at on the interstates.

kellie c. you so rocked this song!

  • would so love to get a picture of my girlfriend with that car and the texas state flag in the background to hang up in the house.

  • One of my favorite texas songs.

  • I'm from Texas, and I had a blue Mustang... Apparently I should have went to Oklahoma a lot more often! hahaha

  • What year are the stang and the trans respectively?

  • @hanshotfirst1138 66 Mustang maybe 67, trans am is 78 or big mustache burt reynolds era trans am from smokey and the bandit. lol

  • the trans am belongs in the crusher...as for the mustang it should be residing in my garage haha but great song a small nebraska band called side step sang it so well at the street fair in thedford nebraska last week

  • what a great song. its one of my favorites

  • one of the best country songs ever

  • o my god.

  • this song was on a compilation a long while ago...it had kenny chesney, dierks bentley..some others. I remember a song I really loved on there..can't remember the title for the life of me but I remember the artist was deanna kaye. i can't find any of her stuff. anyone know of the cd or what happened to ms. kaye?

  • @welcometourist yea i got that cd at a kenny chesney concert... cant remember the name though

  • Great video. too bad her and her record company were splitting up then, could have been a big hit

  • Mrkevin....

The guys plates were texas dumbass. and the video is from the meant to be from the 70's or 80's and thats what some interstates look like!!

  • @Sarah00000210

Not tru that stangs about a 68 , the trans am's a 78 , and that last mustang is 01 area ... so how's that make sense darling

  • @JoniHendrix Agreed but I guess maybe if you look at it from a "theater" type perspective maybe the director was trying to illustrate that at the beginning of the song it was her and her friends from back in the day (70's era) then at the end of the song it was her and her same friends now chasing a new blue mustang remembering her older times. Or I could just be really bored. lol

  • 1st that was not an interstate highway, and 2nd those plates were not texas they were oklahoma. you would think all the money spent on a video they could get at least the texas tag right, I mean it is the name of the song.

  • Comment removed

  • the Mustang has Tx Plates, the Trans Am had Ok. plates, so they did have it right. cuz my friend is a friend of Kellie's.

  • As I remember Kellie was in the middle of a big dispute with her record label and the album that this song was to be from was never released

  • they were lucky there was no on-coming traffic...hence they were driving on the wrong side of the road.

  • Why wasn't this song a hit?I don't get it.

  • This song has hit written all over it...was surprised it wasn't a hit for her :(

  • @bflyjake Due to a dispute with her record company, they cut her, then wouldn't give her the rights to the song when she signed with a new label.

  • This song reminds me of my teen years. Even had the car in yellow. Met my husband this way.

  • Right there with ya Charlene...cept I was the cowboy getting chased...18 yo, my first college spring break, on the way to South Padre...damn, I miss that car...:-)

  • i love this song!! great for a texas girl like myself too :)

  • Thanks for sharing!! Love it!!

  • this has been my absolute favorite song for years. (:
