@schtheguitarman@JCenaAngel25 That is Jerad Anderson behind the wheel. He plays a lot of instruments, but his band is 100 Monkeys. They aren't country, but well worth listening to. And yes, he is hot.
Funny, Kellie was born in Oklahoma, yet she's singin' 'bout Texas plates. She hit #24 in Billboard, 2-04. God bless ya, for postin' it! She needs to make a chart comeback. What's she doin' now? Somebody let me know. God bless ya, for your efforts.
the trans am belongs in the crusher...as for the mustang it should be residing in my garage haha but great song a small nebraska band called side step sang it so well at the street fair in thedford nebraska last week
this song was on a compilation a long while ago...it had kenny chesney, dierks bentley..some others. I remember a song I really loved on there..can't remember the title for the life of me but I remember the artist was deanna kaye. i can't find any of her stuff. anyone know of the cd or what happened to ms. kaye?
@JoniHendrix Agreed but I guess maybe if you look at it from a "theater" type perspective maybe the director was trying to illustrate that at the beginning of the song it was her and her friends from back in the day (70's era) then at the end of the song it was her and her same friends now chasing a new blue mustang remembering her older times. Or I could just be really bored. lol
1st that was not an interstate highway, and 2nd those plates were not texas they were oklahoma. you would think all the money spent on a video they could get at least the texas tag right, I mean it is the name of the song.
Right there with ya Charlene...cept I was the cowboy getting chased...18 yo, my first college spring break, on the way to South Padre...damn, I miss that car...:-)

the Mustang has Tx Plates, the Trans Am had Ok. plates, so they did have it right. cuz my friend is a friend of Kellie's.

As I remember Kellie was in the middle of a big dispute with her record label and the album that this song was to be from was never released

they were lucky there was no on-coming traffic...hence they were driving on the wrong side of the road.

This song has hit written all over it...was surprised it wasn't a hit for her :(
bflyjake 2 years ago 8
@bflyjake Due to a dispute with her record company, they cut her, then wouldn't give her the rights to the song when she signed with a new label.
